Im trying to step back, assess the info she gave us without judgement and trying to feel sorry for her. I just don't understand it.

I always told myself if I couldn't get to where I am(personal goals), and couldn't take care of a kid properly the way I needed to financially, then I'd never have kids. Luckily, I'm in a place now where I could slip up, get pregnant, take care of a child on my own with not a single penny needed from the father with or without him wanting to be in a potential child's life.

It's really not that hard to gatekeep your womb with all the modern technology and resources we have. I've never had a pregnancy or STI scare.
