Being calm, confident and prepared is some cliche shyt but very applicable. Once I get there and meet the interviewer, I imagine that I'm talking to someone I know about a job I want.
Stress throws me off my game so getting over that was the biggest help for me.
I know i have the job that I interviewing for i have that feeling plus the lead jawn was on my dikk smiling. I have one last interview on monday with the head cio and senior director on tuesday. Already met more than 5 people this is the third interview and they checked my references.
Ready to make that gaup praise the gods and ancestors breh
Yeah one of the dudes was the Senior IT director when I was interviewed so that's it for me , manager walked me out to the car talking about the position and stuff said they had one more person to interview ?,, he and I are left I'm thinking.
The fukked up thing about Jobs today is - They talk about who will train you, introduce you to the staff you would be working with, tour the entire campus including top secret areas , laughing with some of the staff in the interview, manager talking about detail data center infrastructure and expansion with you...
shyts fukked up when you go through all that shyt for hours and not get picked![]()
Damn that shyt would be crazy. Hold thr entire office hostage with some bullshyt like that. The crazy thing is I've dreamed the entire process a month before I got a call. Same office and everything. We will find out monday.
I kill every interview. I google and study as much as I can about the company. If I know the person who's interviewing me I look up linkedin profiles and personal info. If the interviewer went to a certain college, I plug in a fake friend or relative that went or goes to the same school. If they're from another state I plug references/stories to that state. I basically lie and bullshyt them to death with sympathy stories just to play with their emotions. I bring up shyt that has nothing to do with the interview. One time I spent 15 minutes talking about Game Of Thronesbecause this cac made a brief reference to the show. I lied and told him I just started binge watching it
I play the patriot card by bring up my military experience and old military stories. I lie and make up stories about non existent top secret shyt
People who do interviews don't know what the hell they're looking for half the time other than if they feel comfortable around you or not. I usually don't get the job do to them promoting from within and interviewing outsiders because they half to or the pay or schedule isn't what I want.Oh... and If I'm not feeling the vibe of the company or the person interviewing me I switch to
mode and simply go through the motions.
I used to get nervous because I’ve come from a position of weakness but now... I can handle it better plus I’ll lie and ask for God’s forgiveness afterwards because these folks aren’t playing fair at all.Do you get nervous? What was your best interview and worst? Ever had to take a skill assessment?
