Kev still looks three point happy and didn't connect on any, looks bigger and handle looked better, had some nice passes, made a nice midranger on the move, still looked lost on defense
Frank played his usual brand of hounding defense on Killian and D-Rose, didn't look to force the issue as usual, jumper and movement looked smooth best he's looked in those regards fluid, had 4 TO's never got in rhythm missed some point blanks at the rim, you can still see him overthinking leading to those travel calls, as I said a few days ago THT is a better young player and showed it last night with his outing there's a skill/size/mentality advantage there, Frank's lack of physicality and burst and his passive mentality is what holds him back
Obi looked really good, like a young Stoudemire, very physical and aggressive trying to post and get those DHO's off, he's going to be one of the league leaders in front court touches one day, legit fast in the open floor guard like and his dunk was a pogo stick, spin move already looks unstoppable and he's got some crazy touch, the jumper looked knuckleball-ish we want to see him be a real outside threat he shot efficiently at Dayton but not on high volume, passing was really nice although later on got a lil reckless still only one TO and it was on a crosscourt three point line to three point line pass that may have been deflected, some good interior passes we saw it on a DSJ dunk, active without ball relocating and saving out of bounds balls and cutting, his shot I.Q. and knowing where to be on the court separates him from Randle he is a smart player who can direct traffic for teammates and create floor imbalances and mismatches he really has offensive anchor potential, got bodied by Jahlil a very big traditional low post 5 and picked up 4 fouls
Barrett the shooting was ugly early from the outside blasting off backboard and shooting air balls, needs to step in focus on the midrange ball to get going, he got hot he can put up points in bunches, we really need to get Randle and Payton off the team so he can get the reigns of the offense
I see what Thibs is doing with Nerlens and Mitch. 48 minutes of rim protection as of right now Nerlens is the more disciplined and conditioned player, Nerlens actually happened to be our best player last night.
I'm mad Thibs didn't play Quickley
