These nikkas never been involved any sport before, let alone football. GMs, coaches, scouting departments are fired every year, new players are signed for teams, and yet we're supposed to believe that game are being set up by the higher ups.
Some owners are in it for the profit at the expense of a good team (See Dan Snyder), but to claim the whole league, and all of sports are fixed? Crazy.

nikkas don't understand that people play, coach, and manage teams out of the love of the game. Those are the same nikkas that never played a sport in their life, were picked last at gym pickup games, and prolly thought the world was gonna end on December 21, 2012 :heh:

Exactly, I was reading dude's post like :dahell:

How the hell could you fix a game without any of the players having knowledge? :heh:

I ain't even mad no more.

Robert Kraft is the man. The stuff he has been orchestrating for the NFL behind the scenes is :gladbron:.

Dude is a boss, and business man like no other.

Hey man, can you elaborate? I always suspected this geezer is the reason pats always getting favorable calls.

I don't know how many times I've seen when a team is on a run, ESPN and other major sports news outlets start covering them. They get plenty of money thrown at them for the upcoming week from the less-knowledgeable betters trying to follow a hot trend. The refs are giving them plenty of trouble, however still win the game, but don't cover the spread. The general public doesn't care about money, but the story line. So since they won, there can still be coverage on said team throught he media outlets. The people who bet however ultimately end up losing due to the spread not covering. NFL gets to continue with the coverage to pique the general public's interest, and Vegas cashes out. Rinse and repeat.

It doesn't happen 100%, otherwise it'd be too easy to bet.

Denver vs Jacksonville this season for example

Definitely in some instances. Most owners have connections to notorious bookmakers, the NFL is technically an entertainment organization on the same level of WWE that can legally fix its own games if it wanted to. I don't know about wins and losses necessarily being fixed, but totals and spreads? Absolutely.
u my nikka and I trust ya opinion on here for the most part, but Imma need some facts for the shyt in bold my nig. **edit (just read ya links) daps :ehh:

My problem with the NFL is rigged argument is that too often it's rooted in the "my team got cheated" mentality or people taking "storylines" and retrofitting them to form a conspiracy. Even worse the guy in the first article is whining about his bad beats trying to handicap the NFL.

Using anecdotal evidence about how one time a team miraculously covered, or the refs missed a crucial call is not proof of anything. Even in a league 100% free of fixing these things would happen.

This would be true if everything was purely anecdotal. He presented the anecdotes because that's what initially piqued his interest on the topic and made him want to investigate more, that's pretty much how most of life's discoveries come out. Somebody makes a noticeable observance of a common occurrence that does not necessarily coincide with how they once perceived things to be. But he does report accounts of first-hand individuals stating how the game is fixed. Afterwhile, it can't just be mere coincidence anymore. That Polamalu TD for instance is an example, it was a clear fumble, recovery touchdown. The play also has no implications on the final outcome of the game itself, Pitt would have won anyways. What it did change was the final score, which had Vegas implications,...70% picked Pitt -3, 100million on the line...doesn't seem like a coincidence to me

I love reading about stuff like this. But if the NFL is fixed then why doesn't Marino have a ring? He was a golden boy QB if there ever was one. What about Buffalo losing all those SB's? The league couldn't give them atleast 1? I love this shyt though. Great thread.

if you bet on the nfl and start following the spreads and over/unders trust me you'll start feeling its fixed.

nba is the same when i started betting on the nba and doing like quarter bets, and over unders its amazing what would happen, spread of like 195 or something, teams have like 190 points with 2 minutes left, ends with like 194

Sometimes it feels like the line dictates the game.......It's borderline strange. Some games it's like Vegas will throw out a line that fukks the public's heads up. Like that Chargers vs Colts game with the Colts getting 1 on Monday night. 75 percent of the public was on the Colts and somehow they go out there and don't remember how to catch passes. :dead: I bet the Chargers that game but it just feels strange.

That said, I don't believe the NFL is outright fixed.
