He uses it a lot, he switches it up for certain artists thoThat Pierre dude, all his beats sound the same, I think he use the same drum pattern every time.

anyone saying madlib is lazy is an idoit, no diss
madlib has a huge discog, he uses different hardware and instruments , he also has different styles, he can do the chops or he can do the simple loops with no drums, madlib has mad different styles, just listen to his beat konducta albums and then switch to the shades of blue album and then if you really about that life listen to his lootpack stuff, its all different
madlib fans should know this

Y'all are confusing simple sounding beats with being "lazy". Just because the beat isn't over the top like a Kanye song doesn't mean the producer is lazy
We're talking about music. The gym forum is that way :OsamaCamby:He also didn't miss a meal
Drums are probably his weak spot. Kanye admitted years ago he had weak drums too so he would get Mike Will made it or Southside to do the drums for himtheres an art to a loop, just depends on how its touched filter wise and the drums. thats the only reason id name Apollo, and honestly 9th too.never understood how they put so much time in sample mining/learning programming/chopping then have have lazy drums patterns/sounds. now i like 9th alot more than AB, but he can be frustrating
