Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
IDK breh u seem eager to dump on/give up on the US at any given opportunity.

Because I've lived in another country :yeshrug:

U mean to tell me if u get cancer in somewhere like Colombia u are gonna be able to get cured for cheap? U do realize RICH people from Europe fly back to the US to get treatment for shyt like cancer, correct?

I made a correction to this, you left out the fact it's rich people who can pay to jump to the top of waiting lists. What rich people do doesn't matter to me, and it shouldn't matter to you either so bringing them up is completely irrelevant. The reality is middle class people are going broke left and right on medical care in this country, that is the leading cause of bankruptcy here.

And culture is hardly overrated. Cultural barriers and influence is why places like Chinatown and other immigrant enclaves exist. Its not realistic to expect someone to completely give up everything they know when they move somewhere. And that 3000 miles becomes a lot harder to traverse if you are only living on $1200 a month. Plane tickets aren't cheaper in other countries breh. Neither is gasoline for that matter.

Nah, American culture is very much overrated, there's really not much to it. It's not realistic to expect people to give up everything they know, yet you yourself have up and moved to North Carolina which is incredible different from NYC, and you left your family behind right? Again, the cost of everything else is cheaper, so that $1200 a month can stretch a lot further than you seem to think.

The US is what u make of it. If u choose to live a simple lifestyle below your means you can have financial freedom making an average salary. If u keep active and eat good foods u can stay right and have a low health maintenance cost. Etc. U are low key selling wolf tickets to try and scare brehs to leave the US and follow in ur footsteps without really presenting things either fully or honestly IMO. Like I said I have people abroad, I know the ins and outs too, shyt is nowhere near as gravy as u make it out to be. If it were people from the countries u are mentioning wouldn't be trying to come here. I have people all over the world on that teach English shyt... its cool... but most of em cant wait to come back. Why do u think that is?

You have people abroad, but you yourself haven't lived abroad :ld: So how can you sit here and say I'm selling wolf tickets, especially when people like @Tommy Knocks and @blackzeus are basically doing exactly what I'm saying :wtf: I mean, at least have the experience yourself before you talk about other people not being fully honest about it. How can you know the in's and outs of it when you've never had to look for work in another country, I mean :wtf: man. I have people in Asia, doesn't mean I know what it's truly like to live there which is why when anyone asks me about it on here I point them to Tommy.

My grandfather was a boss business man. When he passed away in 2010, he left behind properties in Somalia

It's a gold mine. My father has fixed up the property the Egyptians used as their Embassy from 1973-1994

And now it's a hotel with suitors (Chinese) wanting to book rooms months in advance :leon:

The US is a sinking ship brehs

Imma head to Mogadishu soon, lemme know if you want to head out there. I'll have my pops security get you

Are you and @malcolmxxx_45 related? :lupe:

Because I've lived in another country :yeshrug:
So the only people who can have any kind of opinion on living abroad are people who have lived abroad? How convenient :beli:

It's not just extreme shyt like cancer. You get in a car accident or something, emergency response in other countries sucks compared to the US.

Nah, American culture is very much overrated, there's really not much to it. Im still a 10 hr drive or $200 flight away. I don't have to worry about travel visas or any of that shyt if I want to go back. Plus NC is different from NYC, but it's still "overrated American culture" that brehs HAVE to leave, in your opinion, so by your logic it's not "incredibly different" from NYC in any meaningful way.

It may be overrated TO YOU, but that doesn't mean it's overrated for everybody. That u have to engage in broad sweeping generalizations, cherry picked real estate examples (with no discussion of differences in financing here vs there) and outright hyperbole to sell this stuff weakens the case to move abroad to me.

I have family abroad, I have friends abroad, my family has literally helped dozens of people gain legal entry into this country. So Im not some no-passport having redneck... Im a first gen immigrant who has travelled a lot. I am sure if I were on the same "fukk America everyone has to leave" shyt you are you wouldn't question my credibility at all. U, Tommy and blackzeus are 3 people, and u have a clear agenda/bias... the range of people I know living abroad are a much bigger sample set and more honest mix. Why should I take your one opinion over the DOZENS I have from people I know well in real life?

This isn't even to say brehs shouldn't look into living abroad... they should... but they should look at it without bias and REALLY look into all the ins and outs; not just look for anything to convince themselves of a predetermined conclusion like you are trying to do. Acting like there are absolutely no downsides, even minor, to living abroad, is just flat out dishonest.

Anyone moved to the Caribbean or have any stories of other peoples experiences?

What do you want to know? All I can say is that for the average cat it's not as dreamy/easy as some are making it to be.

I recommend flying out to the country you thinking about moving to at least 3 times first

What part of American culture would be missed? I hear this often but nobody can ever quantify it for me.

I do agree with you that buying property is being oversimplified. But overall if you have the means to leave the country there is nothing wrong with it at all. This country isn't all that.
