Whenever u are trying your best to accomplish something and it seems like u just cant get your goal accomplished....always remember the crackhead. The crackhead could wake up broke with no money and no crack in the morning...But somehow...someway...By the end of the day...The crackhead gets that crack. Now the obstacles that the crackhead had to go thru just to get that crack is irrelevant...They were determined by the end of the day to achieve their goal and they achieved it. You too can acheive your goals with determination, dedication and discipline ....never forget the drive of a crackhead.

Possibly Major in Business or Engineering

- Join NSBE (they can help with internships and all things engineering)

- Try to participate in summer research opportunities. The programs are called SROP and they PAY you to do summer research at great universities (you meet so many new people too). It will be great for recommendations and potentially graduate school in the future. SROP for CIC universities: https://www.cic.net/students/srop/introduction, Berkeley SROP http://diversity.berkeley.edu/undergraduate-research-programs, Duke SROP https://gradschool.duke.edu/student...ents/duke-summer-research-opportunity-program, Harvard SROH which requires one summer of previous research https://www.gsas.harvard.edu/prospective_students/summer-research-opportunities-at-harvard.php

- A summer business internship is the Vanderbilt Accelerator program. Check out the website: http://www.owen.vanderbilt.edu/admissions/accelerator-admissions/admissions-criteria.cfm

- JP Morgan has a summer internship that requires a 3.2 GPA http://careers.jpmorgan.com/student/jpmorgan/careers/us/programs/summerug

- Application deadlines for summer opportunities are typically in January (early February at the latest). Never wait until March to figure out what you are doing in the summer (it's too late for to find the type of academic opportunities mentioned above) and NEVER waste your summers.

- Don't overload yourself with ALL hard classes your first semester. Ease your transition into college and start off with a strong/high GPA (it's really hard to bring up a low GPA).

- For the purposes of being able to potentially go to grad school in the future and get amazing internships, you need ABOVE a 3.0. You really shouldn't have below a 3.3 (B+ average) to ensure that you are competitive in the future.

and yea literally no one in the world cares about you or your well being
Man I'm not one to put weight in what a guy like Ebro says but when he (when talking about the Kendrick Lamar album, doesn't really matter) said that he lives in a world where NOBODY cares about you or your problems or feelings....that shyt was 100% right...people will listen and empathize but straight up you are ON YOUR OWN in this world. Even my pops...literally the best father a man can want, can only give life advice from experience...but at the end of the day...its MY decisions and I live with them on my own.

Nobody else really cares about you unless they have a vested interest in their own benefit.

Stay in the word of God, place Jesus first

Do those things that you don't want to do...and do them with "A" level effort

Don't become to attached or overly impressed by this world or those with titles in it...but learn to respect Men for Men (i.e. Do what you said you'd do, speak only facts etc.)

Women are secondary and will only bring happiness to your life if u want them in it but don't need them in it. Too much responsibility on a woman for your well being is a sure fire lane for disaster.

And last but certainly important...TAKE NOTE OF THE THOUGHTS U ALLOW YOUR BRAIN TO PROCESS...if they are not positive those thoughts didn't originate from the Heavenly Father they originated from the evil one. Thoughts aren't just in existence, they originate from one of three places you, God, or the evil one and the thoughts that originate from you are dictated by which you allow most into your heart God or the evil one. God thoughts equals cups runnin' over:myman:
