1) It's ok to be a "lame". Being a thug only has hood benefits (more bytches, more notoriety). Work on yourself first

2) Stay in decent shape...women (especially older) love younger fit men

3) Don't have kids but if you do, take care of him and RAISE him. Don't worry about people giving you respect for "being there" because thats what ANY man is supposed to do for his son/daughter

4) Learn basic laws in case of iinteractions with cops where they may try to violate your civil liberties

5) Find a woman who is not a thot and hold on to her

Freedom is 6 months of expenses in the bank.

Don't stress chicks too much, invest in yourself and the women will be a natural reward.

I do not what you're talking about, the freedom in the bank bit, but I'm heeding the advice :mjcry:

Not "wear a condom" "don't drink and drive" type of advice. They've heard that. I'm talking about real...REAL LIFE advice that you learned the hard way.

I have a good friend who is 24 and regularly depressed and more so...feels lost.

Here's a secret for those of you who are too:

Nobody else knows what they're doing either. I have a very solid career but I am just going with the flow...regularly get the feeling I've fukked or am fukkin up...and feel lost. The most directed and driven people you know in life are actually lost like you too. Nobody decided "I'm going to be X" in hs or during college and then...did it...and if they did they have second thoughts and doubts every day. There is not a way you're supposed to be going, or a place you're supposed to be at a time in your life. Don't fall into those constructs. And don't get disappointed because you're not "there" yet.

I could continue but I'll pause there. Add on

I'm not religious anymore bit a good line in the bible says "don't compare yourselves amongst yourselves, doing so is not wise"

I see so many threads on here with ppl asking how much money they should have or what they should be doing in comparison to others.

Its natural to be curious, but its foolish evaluate ur own temporary success based on someone else.

Foolish bc you can become depressed, or start trying to take shortcuts, be distracted from your goals, become unhappy with your life, etc. All of which can delay any progression you may have been making.

Just stay focused on whatever goal you have in mind and keep working.

Forget about the next man/woman.

Yes. x10. It CAN MOTIVATE you but it is easy for that to turn into frustration or worse, envy. Great input.

Don't cheat on you girlfriend..

I don't care what these "playas" say but it's hard AF and damn near impossible to satisfy 2, or 3 woman at a time. ( I got fooled by rappers that was the way to go)

If y'all not that serious, I guess it's no big deal, but if you to are exclusive hold up your end of the bargain.

That's not wrong for this reason

Please pay attention folks

Nobody is looking out for you. Your family has hope for you but you control your destiny and nobody is trying to help you. You stand for YOURSELF.

Quoted for emphasis.

The most informed person about your life is you. Live for yourself and your principles, not anyone elses definition of life - you only have one..

Learn about finance. Loans (annuities and mortgages too, and when you see how loans work this will make sense), credit cards, the banking system, investments, and amortization (if owning a business). You'll be able to figure out smarter ways to make money and spot bullshytters and bad financial choices easier. Most importantly, you'll know the right questions to ask.

Take your education seriously. This does not mean hollow advice like "go to college and get a degree". I mean learning anything by any means necessary. Get self educated with all this information available for free out here. Relying on others to expand your mind is a risky proposition.

No matter how much money you think you are making - DO NOT have kids unless you are ready. Seriously. That $150,000, 6 cert life will be trash if you are unprepared for a family. A lot of cats get :flabbynsick: because they thought having money meant kids wouldn't be expensive.
