Will Gen Z eventually claim theirs was a golden generation?

Yes, every generation does this but there is a clear downturn in society starting with us millennials. Then it just gets worse from there

:heh:I advise you to talk with somebody alive during the heyday of lynchings, church bombings and domestic terrorism.

gen z unfortunately do not have a golden era in anything pop culture besides maybe sports and streaming

they grew up in the 2010s starting late 00s. not too many iconic talents from that range

I, for one, welcome our new space overlords.
They have no solid claim. Terrible music, regurgitated/remade movies, no culture at all but a cesspool self-righteous narcissists who cannot hold a simple conversation without using victim tactics, very emotional people who are controlled by emotions and idealistic ideologies.

I actually think this generation will be looked at as one of the worst ones.

The internet breaks or somehow something goes wrong and none of these fools will be able to survive. No one has mastered nothing and everybody thinks they know everything.

Judging by forums populated by Gen z and their posts on tik tok, they're pretty depressed and don't have much to look forward to.

Millennial and Gen Z have a lot in common. I often find that when I talk to people born from 95-98 they're more mature than people I knew when they were the same age.

We can chalk that up to the Flynn effect or the fact that they grew up in an age where a lot of information was in their face and they had to learn to process it quickly. I think millennials and gen Z will be seen as the new greatest generations while Gen X will be the silent generation and these iPad kids will be the next boomers.

And before anyone gets mad: Ron DeSantis, elon musk, Peter Thiel, Marjorie Taylor Green, Lauren boebert, and Mike Johnson are Gen X. The boomers are dying off but they passed down their bigotry to their children who grew up at a time when they couldn't get on social media or a podcast which explains exactly how their parents are actually uninformed about the topics they're trying to teach their kids about. They're the ones propping up and doubling down on propaganda in place of actual education and knowledge.

prosper any where on earth
as a Millennial, we carrying the most out of society because we learned from Boomers and Gen X

Look at music today Millennials sre carrying certain traditions (Kendrick, Cole, Beyonce, Drake,LBJ)

Social Media is from Us too

We created modern society, Boomers and Gen X hsd to learn Social Media, and Youtube, AI,

But on the real, We're carrying too much.

That's why nothing is changing and as shyt gets boring.

I know there is the mindset that every generation always thinks theirs was the best and rolls with the “back in my day” talk. Truthfully though If you think about where the degradation of society and everything associated with it started and reached a new turning point then millennials got to hold our hands up. Sure it started with us but these Gen Z fukks took it and ran with it.

It all started with the dawn of the social media age propagated by Millennials. and then taken to a whole new extreme by Gen Z. Looking back I remember how great the 90’s was and even some of the drip in from the 80’s. Who would have thought that being more connected and having a hive mind would have been a bad thing. Anyway question being do you think Gen Z will have the nerve to follow the pattern and eventually claim to the “Alpha Gen” how great their generation was and how things have turned to shyt?

Nah, if you talk to most actual Gen Z's they are incredibly jaded and pessimistic. Sexuality is about the only form of expression they feel is even still valid and that's been cheapened and devalued through porn/internet.

They don't like their own music
They don't elect their own officials
They don't have any desire to participate unless its WHOLLY on their terms

Gen Z took all the negatives of being self absorbed and amplified them. While Millennials turned it into being anxiety ridden over-achievers (generationally).

But what do you expect? Gen Z for the most part are the children of Gen X, who were the most do-nothing generation of the 20th century. They've given us phenomenal music, but still don't run most governments, still don't have the wealth their parents did, etc.
Millenials are poised to surpass their older Gen X siblings by every defining metric.
Gen Alpha will do the same to Gen Z too.
