I did Keto back end of 2018 and found it very difficult. The weight dropped off me but I was moody as shyt, had horrible energy levels and found gym difficult to maintain. Also, I didn't realise how few 20g of carbs really is. An apple fukks your entire day.

I rather do intermittent fasting than ketosis. The end result is the same, which is the body using fat as its primary energy source. But with IF you don't have to cut anything out of your diet. You just have to cut down your eating window. I love carbs too much.

Actually started a modified version last week. I still eat most meat but significantly cut back carbs. My love for popcorn is making it hard but it's all good

I'll "cheat" and get fries on a weekend day. I just brought some almond flour Tuesday night so plan to try and make fried chicken with it next week. Might post a picture if it comes out nice.

Actually do the vodka + flavored club soda for night drinks, but I've been doing that for a while now. Wake up with no hangover :ahh:

But so far I'm down over 5-7lbs and it's day 10 I believe. I still do my normal corona calisthenics and jog 2x-3x a week. Close to 700 calories burned every time I jog so I'm sure that has something to do with it as well.

Hell my friends and I started experimenting with carbless cocktails b4 we even started this shyt.

Apparently Ciroc pineapple has no carbs! Got some diet cranapple juice, ciroc pineapple and pina colada Smirnoff spritzers with one squeeze of kool-aid tropical punch flavor shots.

Is this gonna fukk up our efforts?:mjlol:

Try to go easy on the artificial sweeteners if you can. Liquor can make you gain weight but just like everything else it’s about calories in vs calories out.

You can afford the extra calories from vodka if you’re doing keto. You’re gonna be struggling to get to 1600/1800 calories a day or whatever your goal is.

Naw lol. Literally every overweight person I know gained weight back :mjlol: it only works because for the first time in their life they are setting easy to follow limits. Soon as they get off it they gain a lot of it back. Ive seen it like a dozen times now.

People like that should do Intermittent fasting/one meal a day. Before I can remember hearing about all these diets and methods, I remember people saying I just eat 1 big meal a day.

Calories at 5 am is no different from ones at 7 pm

Yupp. Its like a moderate fat diet, instead of a high fat diet like Keto

Plus high protein makes you more satiated and full, thus making it easier to not overeat

Its basically Meat, Fish, Eggs, Low carb vegetables, Quest Bars and Beef Jerky for snacking, and very little fruits

High protein, low carbs, with intermittent fasting = AMAZING :wow:
