Actually just got back on Keto. The energy I have throughout the day is :blessed:
Gonna slowly switch over to a low carb diet once I hit my goals.

To lose weight you just have to burn more calories than you put in. All these fad diets are bullshyt :unimpressed:
Keto will help you lose waterweight but I agree, if you engage in any physical exercise you’re gonna want some carbs.

I rather do intermittent fasting than ketosis. The end result is the same, which is the body using fat as its primary energy source. But with IF you don't have to cut anything out of your diet. You just have to cut down your eating window. I love carbs too much.

Good luck.
Cut down your eating window but you can eat as much as you want on IF?

Keto will help you lose waterweight but I agree, if you engage in any physical exercise you’re gonna want some carbs.
You'll want them, but once your body starts burning fat for energy, you don't need them. Keto takes willpower, but of you do it right, it works very well.

Just do continous 72 hour fasts where you eat only one meal every 3 days and you can eat whatever you want and lose 30 lbs of fat in 30 days.

Keto diet is stupid. So is every other diet. Just stop eating so much. Eating frequency is why most people are fat. We did not evolve to be eating so often. Our bodies evolved with cycles of feasting and fasting being the norm.

I feel so much better when i'm on it.


I started the day with 4 eggs, protein shake, and then chug two bottles of water

lunch is grilled chicken salad or some sort of fish

dinner is usally a fish of some kind.

I got my parents on it once and they felt better with it too.

i removed red meat too.

I'll bring some tips later

If you are male, then removing red meat is really bad for you. Red meat is one of the best sources of Zinc and that mineral is essential to male sexual health (in particular when it comes to testosterone production) and building muscle/losing fat.

And if you are a female, then removing red meat is still bad for you because red meat is one of the most nutrient dense sources of protein that you can consume. Red meat has way more nutrients than chicken. If you can only consume one source of protein then you should consume red meat because of its excellent nutrient base. There's a reason most carnivourous animals prefer hunting animals with red meat than birds with white meat. Red meat is simply more nutritous.

Stop looking at calories or things like carbs/protein/fats in food. Instead look at the minerals and vitamins they contain. The more nutrient dense foods you consume, the healthier you will be.

I tried to eat once every 48hrs but I found it to be too daunting so I eat once a day around 5-6pm and it's usually grilled chicken or oven roasted with a salad (lettuce,cucumbers,spinach with walnuts and a little bit of shredded cheese) and I call it a day. I'm drinking about 1 gallon of water daily. It's tough but I'm getting results.

I like to eat a lot food in one sitting so 48 hours is perfect for me when it comes to maintanance. When I'm cutting I do 72 hour fasts. And when I'm bulking I do 24 hour fasts. Right now I'm bulking so I'm eating in 24 hour intervals as well.

My meals typically comprise of a big plate of cruciferous vegetables like Kale, Brocolli, Asparaghus, and Brussell Sprouts, some leafy greens like Spinach and an avocado. Another plate of animal protein typically red meat or fish with 4-5 hard bioled eggs and a side of pasta or sweet potatoes. And then a big bowl of fruit that I eat until I'm full.

If you consume lots of nutrients, then your body starts to adapt and you can easily go on 48 hour fasts without a problem. The key is to train your body just like when you work out in the gym. Eventually your body will adapt so that what was difficult at first becomes easy. The mistake people commonly make when doing any diet is they neglect the nutrient value of the foods they eat and only concentrats on calories or macros. The key is always nutrient value. Eating more nutritous foods and you'll be healthier and look leaner.

I mainly removed red meat because I used to eat almost every other night when I lived with my parents.

Plus my dad got gallbladder issues with it and had to get his gallbladder removed. The doctor said red meat was probably the cause.
I take zma daily and eat a lot of eggs to try to replace the zinc
If there’s a bbq I’ll eat some steak and burgers there too

The gut health issues are probably related to something else. Doctors just love to blame red meat for everything because they've bought into the vegan mythology. If you still want to eat red meat you can repair your gut health and go back to eating red meat.

They key is to start fasting. 48-72 hours at a time. This will begin a process called autophogy where you body will begin to repair itself. The reason your gut health was compromised wasn't the fact you consumed red meat but that you ate it all the time. The key with everything is moderation. Start fasting to repair your gut health. Then go back to eating red meat every couple of days.

Question, what difference does it make if its cage free? Tastes the same and at the end of the day you’re still eating it’s babies so any moral argument is moot. If someone killed your daughter and ate her would you give them a pass because they treated you nicely? The whole cage free argument always sounded like white logic to me.

It's the theory of the stress of being locked up in bad conditions affecting the animal which is said to affect the quality of the meat and also some say the stress transfers to the person eating the animal.
