You can say you see no problem with it but that isn’t the couples reality. At certain scales a person with 120K salary has certain financial freedoms the other person doesn’t. It doesn’t make the 60K person a bad person but we all know many divorces are because of financials.
Point being it’s to say a 60K gap is no big deal but until you actually work through combing households it’s easier said than done when you aren’t talking couples that have been together from their 20’s onward.
