A perfect example was a TYT video posted in another thread with a journalist asking Trump voters questions...

A gentle elderly white lady that looked like somebody who would offer you a slice of apple pie was asked why is she voting for Trump...Her answer was he's a good family man...

The journalist then asked what about president Obama? Her answer was no but his wife appears to be...

Obama apparently isn't a good family man but the orange clown that buys a new wife ever 10 years and wants to fukk his own daughter is...

It's obvious why she thinks the white man is a good family man and the black man isn't...

This is the voter Trump brought out of their houses in mass on election day...It wasn't about their factory jobs, it was about the "white way of life" being threatened by the godless baby killing liberals that want to accept everybody and take our guns away...

Let me preface by saying that Trump has a history of racist and xenophobic words and actions. His campaign was riddled with dog whistle politics. I am not arguing against this. It isn't up to debate in my opinion.

But you are naive if you think that is why he won. It is about the middle class white worker in key states and Hillary being a shyt candidate. The same middle class workers that Obama carried TWICE in certain areas.

Facts of the matter:

1) Racists would have voted for any Republican ticket regardless. Do any of you believe otherwise?

2) Trump got LESS votes than Romney and might have an Electoral landslide because he went after the Rust belt workers who suffered the most from globalist trade policies.

3) As said before, Trump gained white Voters that went for Obama the last 2 times.

4) Clinton only got ~51% of the union vote.

5) Trump actually made gains on minority voting when compared to Romney. Minorities didn't show up for Clinton in the numbers she needed in several key urban areas.

You do know those constituencies tend to harbor racist views right?

You do know those white folks ( based on statistics) harbor racist views right? Obama lost those voters in historic fashion in both elections.

Those same voters were the catalyst behind the Tea party movement, which is a racist organization.

He actually gained those votes in the areas where Hillary lost the election. That's what I am referring to. See the chart above. Trump underperformed Romney as a whole.

The chart shows exactly my point. Even if he got every racist to come on board (I maintain they vote Republican regardless) and got racists to shift from Obama votes in 2012 (doubtful), it still shouldn't have been enough.

People didn't come out to vote for Clinton.

I agree mostly, i don't think it was racism but I think it was nativism which admittedly is hard to separate from racism

I think if dems including Obama backed off the whole "changing the face of America" multiculturalism rhetoric hil would have won

Obama ran as a black dude running for president, period, natives can tolerate a black guy leading white america but they never signed up for a non white america

So my point is its immigration and multiculturalism that made those white voters switch

These cac voters came out and voted in tremendous margins for a candidate who proposed and supported banning Muslims, deporting millions of people, and expanding the police state in New Afrikan communities, amongst other offenses. What that means is that those cacs do not give a fukk about those things actually happening. They value cac lives over everyone else's.

But nativism explains how some white people voted for Obama and for trump, Obama did a good job of presenting himself as an American who happened to be black, he did not convince the racists obviously but he convinced a lot of white people, those white people have a nativist streak that trump exploited due to Obama and the dems doing everything they could to "change the face of America"
