He also had a top QB rating for a full season in 2011.
He is a good QB, if you were to grade qb's he`d get a B.
I guess we will, but if you look at the teams he came into this league with they were some of the least talented offensive teams each and every year almost.
They put talent around him and he has done nothing but improve.
Since 2009 his QB rating has increased year by year, all indications are that he is a player on the rise.
He`ll never be a great player, but he is a good QB who can win games

I have nothing against big plays and arm strength. it doesnt matter to me HOW you get points.

there is ZERO difference between you getting a first down by 2 incompletions and a 10 yard pass, and you getting 4, 4 and 2 yards by "dinking and dunking"

Dink and dunk is derogatory because it's implied that you're incapable of throwing one for 40, so when you need to get down the field in a short amount of time, you're unable to, which limits you and your team.
Same thing with game manager. Of course all QB's objective is to manage the game, but the elite QB's can take on more responsibility.
Alex Smith = game manager
Colin Kaepernick = a game manager who is capable of doing much more. Who did Harbaugh roll with? the one that can do much more

dink and dunk is used in general for everything that isnt long throws.
its just when brady and peyton do it, people dont call it that. they call it smart short throws to pickup a first down

so you see there's double standards with the same base action in question
the fundamentals of football is to get x amount of yards per y amount of downs. it doesnt fukking matter how you do it. in todays passing league, running the ball and short passes are looked down upon unless its a proven flamethrower.

He went with Kapernick because Alex Smith: game manager dink and dunker whatever cliche you want to throw out there is more methoidcal and cant make as many big plays and if you fell 14-21 points down against a good team your chances of coming back with Alex the way he plays are slim to none
