A couple LeBron streaks on the line.

He's won 9 straight (game 2's) after losing game 1.

He's won at least one road game 25 straight series.

Those other guys wouldn't get those open looks if not for Curry, regardless if he is hitting shots or not.

Now could Kerr give Curry the ball at the top of the key and tell him to go to work? I think so, but that isn't their system.
Didn't they blow the game open with Steph on the bench? :patrice:

If they had Wiggins length on the perimeter they wouldn't have to send 2 guys at Steph off the ball tho. Wiggins always have us fits this season. Thank goodness Bron traded him. He'd be a problem right now.

I was at the game, and the Cavs GM was sitting right in front of me. I was yelling shyt like that all game haha.

I wonder if that's what people were saying when Jordan was going to all them Finals
The thing Jordan was winning all of em with NO game 7s. I wouldn't think it would be annoying but MUUCH less entertaining because theres no real suspense or excitement of the Bulls keep winning in 5 or 6 games

Imagine how John Stockton must feel to be beaten back to back by Jordan :to:

Defense would be better, spacing would be worse so probably a wash. Bron would have to play the 4 fulltime which he clearly is resistant too.

the bench discrepancy is not gonna suddenly level out, thats wishful thinking
The warriors have 5 high level starters coming off their bench.

The reason why the rest of the warriors outside of klay and curry were getting freebies was because of the attention Klay and curry demand on and off the ball.

This team won 73 games for a reason, you can’t just shut down their offense

Cavs transition D was putrid because they have mediocre defenders. Also the Warriors have great spacing in transition with shooters all over the place making it near impossible to defend unless u have freak athletes like OKC.

I agree they need to run more PNR and less Love post ups and kyrie isolations. And I think JR will get going and the cavs will finish better around the basket.

But on the other side, the defense on Curry and Klay is not sustainable, they missed open shots all night.

It’s hard to see the cavs winning 4 games in this series.

They might win 2 out of sheer lebron grit and determination like last year but 4 would require some kind of warriors injury.
You just called LeAndro Barbosa, Shaun Livingston, and Speights high level starters? :mjlol: The only high level anything off that bench is Iguodala and I guess Ezeli just because teams are so desperate for centers, Barbosa hasn't been a true quality player since his prime Suns days.

For you to seriously suggest that a 45-9 bench discrepancy won't level out is wishful thinking. Not the other way around. On top of that, it's insulting, because these are some of the best basketball players in the world for better or worse. Do you actually have any understanding of how rare that kind of output is from a bench period? And you think it's going to be a regular result? :snoop:

Poor defenders has nothing to do with their transition defense. If you contest baskets on the fastbreak and they still score, you live with that. Cleveland was letting guys leak out and go completely unguarded because 2-3 players would be guarding the same dude...it was clear miscommunication. Watch the BBall Breakdown YT video on it.

Yeah, their 3rd quarter where they went straight PnR they were killing GS and looked like they had all the momentum. Going back and watching the game I didn't even realize it until after but it seems like the Delly hit on Draygoon and the incessantly long delay that followed it caused the Cavs to forget what was working and revert back to their ugly 90's post up game.

Half-agreed. I'm not suggesting the defense on Curry and Klay is sustainable, but I AM suggesting that the Cavs, for all their defensive woes, seem to do a good job at containing them. One game is a fluke but several is a trend and outside of that one RS blowout historically speaking Curry and Klay play far, far below standard against Cleveland. Tonight's game was a literal repeat of last Finals, Curry/Klay ghost and the bench mob coming to save the day. And there's a new wrinkled added to the mix because LeBron this year seems to have no trouble guarding Curry on or off-ball. How many more times do we have to see them play mediocre before we stop saying, "They're just missing shots they usually hit?" No shyt, that's how defense works. :mjlol:

I hope Livingston can keep this up. It would be great if he could win the finals MVP:

It's crazy that the Warriors have bench guys that were/could have been 2x or more all-stars. One of the most stacked teams of all time.

I think casuals don't understand what happened to Livingston, before his injury he was finally cracking double digits in PPG, shooting career high in FG%, caused matchup problems because of his size/speed and was well on his way to become a decent starter. Props to the dubs for giving him a chance after he showed flashes in Brooklyn :salute:

Yea and I'm pretty sure my post wasn't related to that point.

Curry was a -1 last night in a 15 point win. In other words the Warriors were outscored by 16 when he was on the floor. This idea that Steph's presence is what lead to guys like Livingston and Barbosa (13-15) going off last night doesn't add up. :yeshrug:
