He was the coach then, now he runs the front office. Different positions and mindsets. :lupe:

Take a pay cut with NY and basically have a worthless season next year with Amare and Chandler still on the books.

At the age he is, he doesn't have the time for a season or two rebuild. But what two other superstars could he get to NY? Love and PG?:whoo:


Best case scenario is a 08 Celtics type of setup. Put him with a shooter and a defensive oriented big man...treat that nikka like Paul Pierce. :leon:

But only coaches I can see him winning with in a nice system is Pops, Carlisle, Thibbs or Spo b/c of Lebron. So by elimination...Dallas or Chicago? :leostare:

Melo can also clearly see he fills a need with Chicago which means his numbers won't suffer at all and he won't have to sacrifice his game. The defense and rebounding there and all he has to do is what he do best, score

Houston don't need another high volume scorer they need pg play. Melo does not help that.
