Dude didnt commit a crime and thus didnt feel comfortable in the situation. Everyone isn't going to be on their 'yes massa' tip while being violated by law enforcement, if thats what you do thats your business.

Uh, maybe because he has rights as an American citizen. Rights that were violated by an illegal stop and search. What part of that are you not understanding? The cop was the illegal party here, not the black man. Why are you attacking him when he is in the right? Him standing up for his rights, and the negative attention the officer and dept are receiving, will help to prevent our rights from being harassed in the future because officers will think twice before violating innocent black citizens. Especially if the dept is sued, which they most certainly will be.

If the car was a problem, why wasnt it impounded for that infraction, or why wasnt he arrested for the offense that he was supposedly pulled over for? Why did the officer have to trump up some bs charge that occurred after the stop? The black man had a perfectly reasonable explanation, the car wasnt reported stolen, nor was there any evidence of illegal activity of any sort. He had no right to do what he did.

THE COP COMMITTED AN ILLEGAL AND IMMORAL ACT. WTF is wrong with you people!

Who has registration and a title for a car that they haven't even purchased...

He more than likely showed them his license...

When test driving a car, there are dealership documents that are in the car. But dude didn't want to provide them for the officer. I'm not saying that there was registration, I was simply tellin my experience.

The story states that when the officers went to the dealership, I am assuming the dude is in the back of the squad car in cuffs at this point, the dealer comes out to take possession of the car. For all we know the dealership was probably issued a citation since they are partly at fault for letting him test drive without the dealer plates on the car, again I am assuming.
