I can't imagine any owner panicking at a player leaving. These guys have been doing business deals their entire careers.

Leonsis just strikes me as one of those handshake/"trust my player" type owners that isn't really trying to play hardball with his players.

He doesn't see this as a bad move personally, but it might be in the wider scope of NBA contract negotiation.
