I think the thing that is overrated is the importance/impact of the PG position, especially smaller PGs, in today's league. Dominant versatile wings/post players win championships not 6 foot tall PGs. You can't expect a guy like Paul to carry a team to a championship.

Starting PGs of the last 20 NBA Champions:
Kenny Smith, Ron Harper, Avery Johnson, Fisher, Tony Parker, Jason Williams, Rondo, flabby J. Kidd, Mario Chalmers

Real who's who huh? :heh:

It's funny how being the first 1 seed to lose in round one didn't stick to GP. It's funny how constant first and second round L's with prime Malone didn't stick to Stockton. Funny how Nash has been teflon for a decade. But CP3 of all guys is the PG we decide to we want to hold to the Jordan/Kobe/Lebron standard.

nikka nobody is getting doubled every time they come down the court, especially the point guard :mjlol:

CP3 been an elite defender for years and now Russ is on that level too.

By the way:

Also CP3 had Curry drop two 7 TO games while playing less minutes and putting up better numbers. How could they always be doubling him with CP3 when the dude isn't even on the court that many minutes with him? Who were they bringing over to double?

This nikka is guarding Steph, Russ and even the 4x scoring champ and league MVP Durant 1 on 1. Yet you making shyt up about a double team

:mjlol:

Fall back fakkit

that one play is proof of his elite defense? a play where he's funneled into help? you nikkas retarded

The Warriors cracked open Game 1 when Chris Paul went to the bench, freeing Curry from his oppressive double team. No such luck in Game 2. Curry had a disastrous 1-6 first half as the Clippers absolutely smothered him with a guard and a big man on every possession

y'all really want to do this with me?

Excuses it's the playoffs every star gets double teamed

Yea, Redikk looked at the dude dribbling the ball who then dribbled near him despite being played straight up. That's some double team champ :skip:
