I grew up on Pizza Hut :mjlol: Then we started eating Beggars, Regios, Italian Fiesta.

:dead:

Southsiders had their pizza joints but so did South Suburbanites.

Both Beggars and Aurelio's come from the South Suburbs and I've always preferred Aurelio's.

You also had spots like
-Sanfrantellos
-Aranellos
-Barracos
-Waldo c00neys

@Noriega You remember Pizza Maker in Country Club Hills off of Pulaski and Flossmoor Rd?

It was a nice older white couple that owned it, I’m sure they are passed now

Had to think about it, because when we lived out there, after Aurelio's, Pizza Makers was the spot we hit up the most. Had no idea they closed though. Unbeatable Eatables and Ariston still open. One place we never ate at though was at El Cortez. They were known back then to have roaches in their food.

Norfeast groovin…
I went to a spot years ago (think it was in the Water Tower or some shyt) and I also went to Giordano’s. It’s cool but not something I’d eat everyday. Real deep dish is way harder to find than NY style tho so there’s a novelty to it.

I went to hillcrest, after practice I’d walk across Pulaski and get me a sandwich from Unbeatable :noah: I still stop in if I’m over that way

Aristons, ehhh..had them earlier this year, wasn’t as good as I remembered as a shorty

El Cortez yeah I remember hearing that bout the food :russ:
It’s always packed tho when I drive past

There’s just too many good pizza places in Chicago

For some that haven’t been named, I fck with Vito & Nicks and Angie’s. They’re near each other so if you wanna sample both it’a convenient

Piece Brewery is really good too especially if you prefer thin crust

Gino’s, Pizanos or Pequods for deep dish.
