or simp for a liar lmao
Honestly I was looking at everything from Renoir perspective, I could relate to him as a father. Harsh, but has to guide the family despite being the bad guy. Real man shyt..he was the standout character for me

I may have missed some story beats though d/t a crazy toddler interrupting me constantly

Renoir is a great character.
both versions of him

Ending spoilers
but Verso saying Maelle is latched onto the canvas out of guilt when literally the only reason she's even there is because she wanted to help Clea get her parents out - also one of the few mid-game story beats that he's not around to slant to his narrative - is high key hilarious

in the whole game no character is truly dead ass wrong but one

Yea I haven’t reflected on that 2nd part. My bias towards Renoir had me thinking that nothing else mattered. I looked at Maelle and Verso both as children.

I need to do a deep dive on Clea, I felt like she had a lot of fukkery going on

Just finished. There’s only one true ending. You either want to face reality or live in a fantasy. This game is definitely in my top games of all time.
Damn I keep hearing this sentiment, I’m copping today when I get off work. It’s on sale and I got 10$ in psn money word to the Stars program. Idk why but this post just sealed the deal, I was looking into copping this or Assassins Creed Shadows. Both. Are on sale and on my to do list of games to play

:damn: be careful skimming this thread

it's one of those ones where you'll want your playthrough to be as blind as possible :wow:

I'll admit I didn't really fully invest into all the game mechanics (pictos, lumina, etc) until I had to beat Simon. fukk that dude :dead:

I love that they encourage you to essentially be gods in this game and be completely OP (even though they nerfed it initially).

I think I'm gonna collect all the journals now and call it done. Most memorable RPG I've played in a long time

Finally got around to this one. Mostly lives up to the hype so far, and runs great on my PC. Soundtrack, voice acting, and art direction are superb. I thought the combat loop would get boring, but the character builds give it enough variety.

l just got to the old lumiere gardens in Act 3 which feels like I'm at the very end as Maelle mentions dude is probably up ahead. I'm level 48~50 with the party and it feels odd, I don't recall the game nudging me to go explore or see anything else yet I keep seeing people talking about doing all these other side quests and stuff. I don't feel like I'm under leveled as the game has been fairly easy and yet I'm at the end presumably.
