I was playing some post game content yesterday at work streaming it to my ipad and my coworker who also beat it recently was watching me fight a boss and this dude kept trying to explain the game for me like "lol come on man you don't even have high defense 🤓 !" "Have second chance on everyone man!"

I'm like "Breh I know what to do man :dahell:"

I was fighting the chromatic ballet boss

and kept dying as they were enchanting me and then having me get killed by my own party while I barely could get hits in since my setup was mostly physical attacks. Dude was like "Man get Schendel for Maelle it does EXTREME high void attacks 🤓!"

My character builds weren't all the way optimized since I had put the game down for about 5 months so I only recently got back on to just finish the story but I didn't do any side quests.

I'm in Act 3, I've completed everyone's side quests besides Monoco. Golgra's still beating my ass. I'm having trouble finding new areas where I don't get one-hit killed. The only other spot I beat was a hall of portraits where one party member fights one enemy at a time.

I'm still loving it...I want to explore more before I finish the game. Do you guys have any suggestions for next areas to check out? I'm about to spend however long it takes figuring out the timing on those hand things at The Dark Shores. I'm under-leveled for those cats, but I feel like I can parry them pretty well.

All the floating islands hold REALLY important stuff. As well as the giant tower just to the west of Visages. But as far as training, yeah that's a good way to level up. Find a strong enemy you can parry well and farm them.

But most of all, you gotta have your pictos/luminas on point.
There's stuff that auto revives, heals with parries and dodges, lets you take shields from enemies, go twice in one turn, always strike first, auto-powerful, etc.

:lupe: Just speculation beyond the news of Verso & Clea recording new lines.

I really want this to be real. Clea is arguably my favorite character.

Just started playing ts. Not too invested yet but I see the vision

Defense doesn't matter...

If you parry everything. :troll:

About 2 months ago Ben Starr and Devora Wilde posted a pic together working on recording lines but it could be for this game, or "Solasta II" which I never even heard of. But has both of them in it.

If you want build ideas there's a million videos out there. If you don't then tell dude to mind his business. :mjlol:

Give me the spoiler version

The game takes place in an alternate reality version of France, after an event called The Fracture. Basically a big earthquake that separated the city of Lumiere from the rest of the continent.

Around the time this happened weird monsters called Nevrons appeared on the main continent, along with a huge monolith and a goddess called The Paintress. She appears once a year and paints a sequential number (40, 39, 38, etc.) and each time whoever is that age dies instantly. The number obviously gets lower each year.

Each year an expedition is sent from Lumiere to the main continent to figure out what the f*ck is going on, and either try to talk to her or stop her, but so far nobody has ever returned. So no one knows what is even on the main continent.

You play as a character named Gustave, who is part of Expedition 33, the latest ones to try and stop her.

There's a bunch of other sh*t going on and I can explain it a bit more if you want but that's the over all plot of the game.

As I learned 33 is a classic RPG in a sense if you're not grinded out or build your characters and weapons properly you will struggle in this game. One of the things I like about this game it forces you to use different weapons for different bosses .

She's OK with solo'ing the Writers. She on some other level shyt :laff: :laff:

Poor Francois though :mjcry:

She's not "ok" with it. She just will if she needs too. I just love the fact that she
dropped down, created a whole ass race of murderous creatures, buffed one dude so much that he is literally the only NON member of her family that's unkillable, hated her dad's version of her in the painting so much she had him kill it, and THEN painted over her doppelganger and turned her into a living monster factory.
All the while caring for her disabled younger sister and fighting a war by her self. With no parents and grieving her brother too.

She is PEAK eldest sibling energy.

I thought shyt was sweet until I got to the Stone Wave cliffs and started getting clapped
:francis:

Really considering putting the difficulty down to story but I’m going to stick it out for now. Enemies just started going combo crazy all of a sudden
