Aiight, fukk it. Will do a new game plus.
I thought shyt was sweet until I got to the Stone Wave cliffs and started getting clapped
Really considering putting the difficulty down to story but I’m going to stick it out for now. Enemies just started going combo crazy all of a sudden
Stick with it...
here's a tip. The objective isn't to LOOK for the parry it's to LISTEN for it. The exact same sound plays before every enemy in the game is about to hit you. Hit parry when you hear that and you'll have significantly less issues.
Good looks to everyone on the tips, I'm hitting the floating islands up and finding a bunch of fun fights. I beat the first round of the hidden gestral arena but got cooked by the second round; now I'm wandering around the Paintress' old stomping grounds and fighting a bunch of OP versions of the regular enemies. But I've got most of their patterns down, so I've been able to level up fast and body a bunch of em. The kills don't just level me up either, they're leveling up my weapons, giving me resources to level the weapons up more, and leveling up the Pictos I already own.
The Picto that lets you get two turns off is a Godsend! Anyone looking for it, you've gotta beat Sprong, the giant nevron that's splashing around. It's worth the 40 lumina to have my team all working back-to-back turns. Now I just need to find a Picto or two to increase my damage. I've got Monoco pushing 100K damage with his best attacks, but I feel like I need to get Maelle damage up. I let Lune apply burn to enemies, then Maelle's first turn puts her into Perfect form but I'm still not hitting big damage like I see she's capable of.

I used GustaveWho did you use in the first Gestral arena, before you get Esquie? You should've used Maelle, her best weapon is from that.
If you missed that you can challenge Golgra later in the game (much later) to get it as well but you have to use Maelle.
Fred.
