also do any of y'all have the Ironman CD?

why is Soul Controller not on my CD? I think down the line the sample was uncleared and issues with that resulted in the track being removed

I have Marvel as the closing track instead, which is far better tbh
I didn't even kno there was a version without Soul Controller
:ohhh:

but I'm not even... cause like I said Rae was top 5. Ghost was top 5 on my list personally, but I'm sayin like where I feel nobody could argue with.

Evenly matched? Definitely. Look at Black Jesus. To me that's the most underrated Ghost/Rae collabo. Nobody shows this shyt love. They were definitely neck and neck... but I think Rae had an edge on the flow.

At the end of the day, we probably wouldn't argue over what album should be playing if we ever got stuck in a room so :yeshrug:
I already had a Rae bias before Cuban Linx. I thought he was the best in the Wu out the gate. Didn't start thinking Ghost was better until SP

I don't acknowledge ANY track listing of that album WITHOUT Soul Controller and Marvel. Marvel is one of the best album outro's of ALL time

Not gonna lie I can live without Soul Controller

but NOT Marvel, that is some real beautiful shyt....the elongated instrumental to close out was a stroke of genius

Nah Breh you gotta have EM BOTH. Soul Contriller has one of the most descriptive Ghost verses ever, that nikka caught the Holy Ghost on his last verse.

Marvel is perfection. One of RZA's best verses.

Matter fact Iron Man is probably the most underrated solo Wu release. Everybody talks about SP, and deservedly so. But Iron Man was so damn raw and Ghost didn't give a fukk, dude was straight telling hood tales like he was writing a script.

If ANYONE votes against OBFCL or Supreme Clientele I'm negging on sight...

No explanations, no arguments, no bullshyt.

NEGS:pacspit:

I'm not sure how anyone could say Cuban Linx or Supreme Clientele aren't classics.

Though it's independent of their classic status, Cuban Linx is a Top 10 favorite hip-hop album for me, and Supreme Clientele was IMO the best hip-hop album of the 2000s decade. I read some end of decade lists with The Blueprint and SC as the top two, and I've always maintained SC was better.

Ironman to me is his best album tbh

maybe not Ghost in his prime or whatever, but all things together and considering it is a mid-90's all RZA-produced album and touching on the themes it did, I give it the edge. Both this and Supreme are 10's anyway...

Soul Controller one of my favorites too:mjcry:
How many of my :flabbynsick: brehs had the tape without Marvel on it :mjcry:
And the purple tape didn't have North Star :mjcry:

I refuse to ackowledge those versions even exist. I remember paying EXTRA to replace my scratched copy of Ironman because I couldn't easily find a version with Soul Controller. I had to ship that bytch from Japan lol.

OBFCL without Northstar is like sex with no Orgasm, anticlimactic and frustratingly anticipated

Ironman is a certified classic. Ghost just had the misfortune of following up Cuban Linx and Liquid Swords
:wow:
