Draymond was looking like the defender he has always been in the playoffs, when it mattered.

Klay is elite but he's not unique, y'all keep underestimating the value of players like Horford and Draymond but it's not a coincidence that they're always on 50+ winning teams. You can't replace what Draymond gives to the team, you'd have to change the entire system and hope it works. I'd argue that Draymond comes up huge in pretty much every game if you go deep into advanced stats, which I don't mess with, but the eye test rarely fails with him, can't say the same about Klay.

Klay is one of the better backcourt defenders in the league and one of the better shooters of all time and is more important to the Warriors than Draymond. His points/shooting creates a lot more offensive space than Draymond would (they barely guarded him this playoffs). His defense protects Steph from other backcourt players.

Draymond is important, but we can lose him and still be a title contender if Klay is there.

Can't really remember back to when Green got drafted but does anyone have a comparison of rookie Green to Bell? Who knows what he can turn into especially since he has a template already.

And Draymond isn't winning MVP, so he's going to have to gun for DPOY or an All NBA team. Both possible but not a for sure thing.

If I was LeBron, i'd be in Klay's ear as much as I could, because that's who he needs with his style of play. Drive and dish to Korver and co. wasn't working because they weren't hitting. Klay as a primary scorer can get 28 pts. easily. He already got 3 rings as an after thought player. Even if GS gets 6 or 7 championships, none of them are getting Jordan treatment or top 3 goat status. Fair or not, KD saved that team from being considered the Atlanta Braves of Basketball.

I can sit here and argue otherwise all day but it's pointless, at the end of the day it's just personal opinion until one of them gets traded.

Also Klay doesn't protect Steph from anything. Harden picked on him all series, in today's game if the ball handler wants to switch on Steph, he'll do it.

His limitations on offense would hurt a team eventually in the playoffs

Like Gobert who’s a beast on D eventually you’re gonna get exposed in a playoff series if you aren’t surrounded by shooters

Nobodies saying he isn’t valuable but if he’s your best player or two and isn’t surrounded by shooters it’s gonna be exposed eventually like Gobert in the Houston series
Gobert and Draymond are nothin alike offensively.

Durant will sign only 1 year deal ... again

How Curry feeling about these nikkas suspect actions when they doing it off his years of getting paid non top 10 point guard money?
y'all really got to read the articles

dray is locked for two more years.. if he signs the extension now, he can sign 3 years, 72 millions.. if he waits until he's a real FA, he can be eligible for the supermax.. all his has to do is win DPOY, make an all nba team, or (not gonna happen) be MVP... then he can get 5 years, 226 million

it's obvious he's gonna stay on for the next two years (he has no choice).. then try to max out after that... and since we have no clue what the roster will be 2-3 years from now.. no need for their fans to worry at all

kyrie saying the same thing... why sign an extension for less, when i can wait till the offseason and get the max
