Prince was rich as fukk, dude never stopped touring. He did small ass expensive venues until he died.
Old people like to work out as well, I don't think they just wanna sit on a boat and get fat.
Personally I think it's feeling the love from crowd, you are 50+ and see 100k in arena throw up a diamond, that must be another level.
And it's not like he's on a bus dealing with janky promoters and jack boys. Dude is flying private jets to Paris, eating at their best restaurants, having the cities finest backstage chopping it up and then hearing the crowd rap Dead Presidents to him. For a month or two every other year and getting a fat bag in return. It's probably hard to understand if your goal in life is to sit on a beach and get fat.

This guy is a special kind of hater.... Like you only see a nikka hate this hard once or twice a generation
I don't even know how wrong or right the actual info is...But just the sustained level of hate and vitriol that flows from this guy's twitter stream...Over the course of years is![]()
he's a deeply bitter individual who doesn't see anyone as his equal and wants to be a (star, record producer, film producer etc)
He had some good old school stories years ago but only so long people give a fukk about those stories.
Since he's turned into a really bitter, jealous, "conservative" type of guy who's on top of the world and has no time for these "lesser" celebrities.
Cash Money has a deal with Universal with a split, just like any other company. Their split is allegedly a lot better than most though. And in Wayne’s lawuit there was also talk about major un-recouped dollars that Cash Money still has to make for UMG.
. Because Jay-Z markets himself as a billionaire.
If you're a billionaire why are you touring and on a 360 deal with Live Nation?
What Sc00n is saying is that Jay-Z isn't the boss he makes himself out to be, he's a worker.
It might seem like hate but he's right. I actually don't see him as the hater everyone else in this thread does. Just seems like he's calling things the way he sees them and pointing out that the smoke and mirrors of the industry has blinded everyone to reality.
He always gets on guys like Jimmy Iovine for profiting off Black Death as well.
I’m talking about the tidal service, the liquor, the Nets, etc selling us that his success is our success. Consume his inferior products in lieu of better stuff in the name of “black” allegiance.U mean making concert-friendly music?![]()

Don’t play me like that. Treat me like they do them anglo folk. Don’t guilt me into shyt.

A lot of who? Are you one of those black folks who eat off his success and “ventures”?A lot of black folk eat due to Jay's success though. That's how it works. That's why it's important to support each other. Tidal might be inferior to Spotify, but it's important that Tidal exists so that black people can see that it IS possible to walk onto these cacs courts some day.
Link?cormega already put hands on this c00n for the culture![]()
Yeah but Universal just distributes CMR and doesn't have any ownership in CMR. That's a big reason Baby & Slim can break bad so much, for better or worse, and always running off on plug.
The fact there is no 2K18 version of CMR or Rap-A-Lot or even Rocafella shows how much true Black independent establishments are needed in hip-hop. Everybody selling out for the bag. Nipsey is dope but he needs artists besides him.
