Change is inevitable...
It's like I said before in another thread:Why do you keep endorsing views that are unpopular for democrats?
They know this shyt is unpopular with the overwhelming majority of the American public. However, if the Democratic Party abandons a lot of the silly shyt they have entertained in order to gain the support of the LGBTQ community, they will erase a lot of the goodwill they've made over the past 20+ years and shave off large swaths of their current base, who can't vote Republican because they are openly hostile to them, but can't vote 3rd Party because it is not a viable political route in 2025.
So these people will just "stay home", which inevitably means a win for the GOP.
That's the crossroads the Dems are at now. Abandon the greater majority of their base OR pretend that this actual issue that they WANT to be a wedge issue really isn't a wedge issue.
As you've pointed out, most people aren't trying to hang Trans folks or round them up in camps but they're not out here in the streets like it's the Civil Rights Era or some shyt because while no one wants to be branded a "bigot" they also have their own personal views that may not align with the party.
That's why the Dems seem to be in a holding pattern. They know what I'm saying is true, their internals likely say the same but they're like well...we need money from these billionaires but if we say something simple like "Yeah men can't get pregnant", they won't get money from THOSE billionaires.
This is why, as you've seen, the DNCs new thing is good billionaires vs bad billionaires.
And they'll make personal attacks, and try to devalue me and my positions by framing me as MAGA or Republican but it's the truth.
These guys are coming to the hard realization that it's all about the money on BOTH SIDES from the far left to the far right and we're all gonna suffer because no one is willing to admit that the middle is where we should be because it would throw their entire worlds into question.
