So wait.

The Democrats are wrong if they do nothing

The Democrats are wrong if they try to figure out what went wrong.

And this is clearly not as simple a problem as 'LOL Dems'. The people chose culture wars over the economy clearly. So to make this about the economy is short sighted especially with Donald Trump trying to tank it.

For some reason people keep thinking Trump voters can be won back with economic benefits :dead: despite proving otherwise every election

We gotta leave these "economic anxiety" arguments in 2016 and admit that Trump's rise is and always was mostly about white supremacy

I don't get this obsession on transgender issue during her campaign. It was never a part of her campaign. It was an old video. But people try to present it as if it was a major part of her campaign. It played zero role in any of the policies she actively promoted during her campaign. Majority of the policies she advocated for were directed towards working class. But there's this weird obsession to ignore all that and just focus on some old video
If this old video exists and Republicans are beating you over the head with it in the present you have to do something to counter their point. You can't just ignore it and act like it doesn't exist. That seemed to be the strategy and it didn't work.
Also, trotting out Liz Cheney and acting like 'fair minded Rs now agree with us' doesn't help either. Less than a decade ago these same people were public enemy number 1 according to Dems. Your base remembers that.

He won a lot more Asian and Latinos this time around so we have to kill the white supremacy argument to.

the far left has made it way too embarrassing to be a democrat. it's not even something i'd admit publicly anymore

weird fakkitry, crying about illegal immigrants, shytty electric cars, and white women whining about toxic masculinity; this nonsense dominates the party's image. it's soft and weak

I knew the first thing this weird cac would bring up is trannys.

You wanted a party that hates gays, wants to make climate change worse and full of fake tough guys like Trump, Must and Zuckerberg. Oh, and wants to cut spending even at the expense taking food and medicine away from the poorest people on the planet.

The party that aligns with your values is in power right now. Why you complaining?

This. I don't care about Donald Trump's approval rating. I am hearing people in real are life embracing Trump's Hitleresque tactics. Let them have it.

They spoke about the difficulty of buying a house, the burden of having kids with student loans, and the ways in which the “phony” and “corrupt” Democratic Party had embraced far-left social crusades while overseeing a jump in inflation.

FOCUSING ON THE BLACKS (AND OTHERS) IS THE PROBLEM!!

“I feel like the administration is going for things that grab headlines, like trans rights, wars, things that people pay attention to, rather than actual inflation and pricing,”'

I'M MAD THAT THE RIGHT IS ALSO FOCUSED ON TRANS - BUT I VOTED FOR THEM ANYWAY

Another expressed concern about the “woke” rules of Democratic governance. “People were getting hurt for any little comment, so you had to be politically correct for everything,” he said.

I just want to say N----- whenever I want without anyone calling me on it

The Dems are cooked
This country is cooked.

The real problem is that Lincoln didn't believe in punishing the South, was more interested in reconciliation.

Those literal same elements continue to animate and dominate America, on top of the anti-democratic/pro-capitalist leanings of the elite.

:obama:Damn breh you right a lot the problems US is dealing with IMO really goes back to the compromise of 1877:mjpls: and going by some of the posts in this thread and in other places look like there going be another compromise like it coming:mjpls:
The Compromise of 1877 was an informal agreement that resolved the disputed 1876 presidential election, allowing Rutherford B. Hayes to become president in exchange for the withdrawal of federal troops from the South, effectively ending the Reconstruction era. This deal marked a significant shift in U.S. politics, consolidating Democratic control in the South and leading to the implementation of Jim Crow laws.

I think Dems need to be resolute on trans issues and clearly outline their support as a fundamental human rights and freedoms issue. They exist and they deserve respect and dignity. There's no question about that.

Acknowledge that community and their fundamental rights BUT stop letting them steer the fukking ship in any way. It's an extreme minority. No competitive sports, it's deeply unpopular and too complex to dissect right now. Get that drag shyt (aka adult entertainment) out of school and away from kids. It's simple. If you're a consenting adult, go crazy - I do not care

They won't survive with common sense mainstream voters if they don't let that shyt go. By getting in front of it, you disarm MAGA from constantly distracting with it. The LGBT will complain but this is chess and they have no choice but to support the only party treating them with any modicum of respect

Dems barely support it

It's not the number one thing they champion or even 5th

But they won't take a firm stance on the more controversial aspects of that movement. They're scared of the blowback from that community

They can disarm the constant deflections of "well you support men in women's sports" with a confident "actually no we don't. Here's our stance on this..."

Dems look afraid to even touch it

Exactly, if your opponent has proof of your support in the past you have to rebut. You can't just let them talk about you being crazy and ignore it.
