You guys keep talking about win Trump supporters. People who voted for Trump are not the only pool of people who did not vote for the Democrats. What they should be doing is placing up plans and policies that will draw in many more of the non-voters and third party voters.
"The overall turnout of eligible voters in the 2024 general election was
63.7%.
[1] This was lower than the 2020 record of 66.6%
[2] but higher than every other election year since at least 2004."
That means there is a votes market that is untapped of 36.3%. They could focus on finding out why those people are not voting. If they actually focused more on issues that affect the bulk of the country, and less on issues that are seen as pro-deviancy and pro-illegal alien, they will probably draw in more people to vote for them.
The real problem though is that just like the Republican establishment, the Democratic establishment are corporate whores. Both parties are bought and paid for by Corporations and Oligarchs, which the Citizens United decision by the Supreme Court made legal. The Judicial branch could push to create an amendment that would remove that, but they will not because they like the flow of money coming in more than they feel compelled to do what is right for the US.
Still outside of that, if people want the illusion that their issues will be seriously considered by the Democrats, they need to focus their campaigns on the issues the working to middle class face. Return to being seen as the party of the average American, not the party of Fruit Loops and encouragers of illegal immigation.
