There were but women were more selective and fearful of sleeping with an aint shyt dude

No. It was just understood that if a man made a kid he stuck around to care for it AND marry the chick he was boning. Where do you think the term "shotgun wedding" came from? nikkas weren't ready, but they got ready.

What would this prediction be based on, I'm not quite sure you understand how predictions work but there's no sure fire way for a woman to predict whether or not a man isn't going to abandon her after her child is born but maybe I'm wrong and if so, I'm open to hearing how this prediction model works.
By choosing non sociopathic men who have strong values and are family minded for one? For example, could you ever imagine a man who has started saving for college funds for his future kids and does community service for children in his neighborhood abandoning his children?

On the flip side, could you imagine a man who spends all his money on the freshest gear, doesn'the want a relationship and doesn't have any future plans or ambition abandoning his child?

To make it simple for you, who do you not see abandoning their child, fetty wap or obama?

You can play stupid all you want, but every single case of a woman being abandon has red flags that were chosen to be ignored. Every. Single. Time.

The shotgun is relatively new. So you may be wrong going farther back in history.

Any black man or woman who thinks like this is a fool.
Successful and powerful people are getting married and getting their children married to other successful and powerful families.

yes, lack of laws dictate actions, which brings me back to the hypothetical that you haven't answered:

If there was no child support, what action should a woman take who had a baby and the child's father left her to raise the baby alone?
The same thing they did back in the day. Either find another man to pick up the slack, let's not act like step fathers is a new concept like 2 daddies or 2 mommies.
Or work extra jobs to make ends meet, move in with her family and if all else fails, sell da monkey.

But this question is side tracking my original statement because you are talking about "IF there is no child support."

I never said we should eliminate child support I said it needs to be reformed and updated for more consideration for men. Just like if she MARRIED the child's father I do believe there should be certain DIVORCE laws to protect her from being completely abandoned at least financially by her husband.

This is true in a lot of instances but women were still more cognizant of the dangers of opening there legs for anybody and everybody on average. The single mothers in the older days were talked bad about and shunned. Society made it known that it was a horrible thing. The father would be somewhere just living his life. Single mothers were rare. Everyone talked bad about them. Go ask your grandparents

So human women can with 100% accuracy predict the future actions of an entirely other human with separate thoughts and motivations, but men can't predict the type of woman who would abuse child support laws, therefore they need to be reconsidered for men, not the child's, benefit?

So do you feel people shouldn't change? I mean do you think every woman that got pregnant was mature and ready to be a mother?
