Didn't they just hire him like last year? :gucci:

Dusty's teams always seem to find ways to choke in the playoffs. Usually in spectacular fashion.

The 2002 World Series where the Giants choked away a 5 run lead in the 8th inning of game 6 :mjcry:

The Bartman game in Chicago :damn:

The 2012 Reds blowing a 2-0 first round lead and losing 3 straight at home. :damn:

:damn:Stop it.....:damn:Please stop it!!!!

:mjcry:It's still tender

horrible franchise.. they gave williams and johnson, riggleman 2 years and kicked them to the curves

that franchise is own and run by microwave owners...
Riggleman walked out the middle of the season and if you haven't noticed, he is no longer an MLB manager and has never managed anywhere since. He quit and people know that.

Davy Johnson was 100 and wanted out.

Matt Williams was one of the worst managers in the game and definitely cost us a chance at making the 2015 playoffs.

And Dusty is just not a postseason manager.

There are some valid criticisms of the Lerner family and Mike Rizzo but you have offered none of them.

It’s not Dusty Baker’s fault that

Bryce Harper hit .211
Daniel Murphy hit .211
Anthony Rendon hit .176
Trea Turner hit .143
Jayson Werth hit .167
Ryan Zimmerman hit .150

How the fukk is Baker supposed to fix that?
Don't disagree but he lost game 3 by not running out our usual end of game bullpen.

Dusty is not a good postseason manager.

Biggest reason to criticize this is that Rizzo didn't want him gone. :francis:

Lerner family wanted his black ass OUT:martin:

I'd rather Dusty than retreads like Brad Ausmus like I've been hearing. I don't think Dusty is Sandy's type anyway; Sandy thinks that the GM is the ultimate authority and that the manager is basically a middle man.
At this point I think Sandy is just a puppet for Jeff until he retire next year and Jeff just takes full public control.

So the odds are against them? It's just not likely. He totally deserves at least one more year.

Ehh, Dusty was brought in to win right away... the regular season record didn't matter much to them, Rizzo said so in his press conference.

Truth be told, I just think the Lerners don't value managers in general. You saw how they tried to lowball Bud Black... they've had a new one every two years since moving to Washington: Washington Nationals Team History & Encyclopedia | Baseball-Reference.com
