I work out in the field. Been doing it this entire time. I have talked to about 100 different people all over the State that WFH and it's a split like 80%-20% towards staying home. Most of them just do NOT think the commute is worth it anymore or necessary.

The Truth
Cacs wanna cac. Even though my company is remote, they're trying to get us to cam up and see each other. I ain't even trying to do that.
I wouldn’t even mind doing that.

I was in an hour long meeting the other day on cam. I literally had the Suns and lakers game muted on my TV behind my laptop and was watching the game

Just unmuted my mic and talked when I was required to say something.

I don't like looking at cacs. Some are the same condescending ones in emails that wouldn't bust a grape in a fruit fight but will lip off and bug you all day. Now my manager got us playing kahoots with one another to introduce ourselves. I'm good on that. fukk em, let's get the work done. I don't got time for that fake friendly shyt.

Yeah they are starting to get mad at us for not using cams also. I use my laptop like a desktop I'm not doing all that shyt lol.
On God, I don’t know one black colleague or friend who works from home, who is pushing for going back into the office. It’s exclusively a white thing. For a lot them, work is their life. They need to get out of the house because they’re so miserable at home.

We know how much the corporate world is dry and flavorless so we can’t wait to get home.

I told my bosses I don't want to come into the office even though we have 3 days at home 2 days in the office.

They asked me between now and December when I would like to come back for my 2 day's in the office. I told them December and they said fine.

I called my city to pay some tickets and the court clerk was working from home. I could imagine how dope it would be to wake up and not have to rush.

Nobody said any of that:mjlol:. Nobody is suggesting someone who is at an entry level position is going to be quitting because they can't work from home. But best believe that the people that really know their stuff and have a valuable skillset will be jumping shyt if WFH isn't a perk. It was already happening pre-pandemic and now that people got a taste of it, expect it to happen more often.
been WFH since 2016. any recruiter that call my phone. I let'em know off top whatever role you calling me about, if I need to come into the office M-F 9-5 then sorry it's not a fit for me. :francis:
