This. I'd date a feminist who's views are more in harmony with humanism than what goes for feminism in 2016. Who wouldn't want an intelligent woman with confidence capable of taking care of herself? I want a partner, a confidant, etc., not a grown child. At the same time I don't want to get involved with some nut obsessed with a so called rape culture.

It's fine because they grew up together. My mom was always the career/independent/corporate women. So it wasn't new when they started dating. Again my mom is not the patriarch type. She always said if she were the traditional type, her life would be too boring.

Secondly she was always gifted academically. Graduated HS at 16, got her BSN summa cum laude at 19; then returned and got her masters in nursing Cum laude at 30. She always said why waste all those skills.

My father was just like . Most of the time. Two incomes better than one.
