Ah so it only magnifies the linked Materia slot, that makes sense.

I think I put it in the wrong slot expecting it to Magnify all my magic ( ) and dumped it when it didn't do anything. Should've read the manual.

Sometimes i feel like im playing mortal combat with how fast the combat is.

When you have 3 people + at your command and fast enemies, its feels like crack

Covers healing your entire party at once. Also, without using MP as well. So anyone that has the materia can do what you are saying, as long as the have the materia equipped. Granted, it suits one that has higher magic stats and/or equipment/equipment level ups and builds to use healing options, as the better they are at magic, the more health would be regained per spell. Some builds can even have your MP consumption reduced in the process as well.

I slept on Aerith too actually, but her magic does astounding damage and then you tack on Arcana Ward and she's a godsend for any enemies weak to any sort of magic. Once she built up right, her level 1 magics be about the strength of the rest of the cast using level 3.

Can anyone confirm if the OG's All materia had multiple materias to find out there instead of just 1?

I slept on Aerith too actually, but her magic does astounding damage and then you tack on Arcana Ward and she's a godsend for any enemies weak to any sort of magic. Once she built up right, her level 1 magics be about the strength of the rest of the cast using level 3.

1st couple battle with her I was like ehh, but after changing something using her more and more, she became a pray healer and an all around monster.

Her and Tifa are by far the best characters in the game, followed by cloud and then barret.

granted it's all about team work but and 1 on 1 is vastly different than a team, but in most cases going forward ( much like old FF) I'm probably gonna rock tifa cloud aerith until yuffie comes along.

But yeah her weapon skills are amazing, the fairy, the projectile and enemy shield, ray of judgement, arcane ward, soul siphon... all super good.

And like you said with the right weapon upgrade right she hits like a truck.

It's really hard for me to even classify who's "best", cuz they all have their pockets and I think now more than ever have they established that in the game. Probably the exact reason why there's the solo outings in the coliseum and VR danger room scenarios to show mofos that everybody can and do put in work. Set up accordingly, Barret can maul a muhfukka down QUICK and it don't even matter where they are (aside from being behind a wall or something). Dope shyt with him too is, he can be mowing down one muhfukka and they get kilt and he'll automatically expend the rest of the ammo on the next muhfukka nearby, even with his abilities, like his Overcharge or Maximum Fury. He'll pull that auto-correct real quick, don't matter where you are. "Ready or not....You can't run...You can't Hide....I'm gonna fiiiiiiiiinnnnddd youuuuuu...and Make you Blood-y!"

Tifa pressure game and stagger maintenance is crazy good and she's definitely the most versatile in the melee and fastest one so far in the game peroid. She's very much a glass cannon tho, cuz she takes damage like a bytch for real. Aerith does as well, but she has abilities for the keep away game and she doesn't have to be in close like Tifa to wreck shyt. Aerith is great support for team too with her other abilities, like Arcane Ward and ATB Ward aren't even exclusively for her, but for the homies too. She make everyone better.

Cloud is just super solid all around.

I can't wait to see how Yuffie and Vincent turn out. Even Cid and Red XIII got me curious as to what they gonna be like. Still not really giving a shyt about Cait Sith yet tho.

I can deal A LOT of damage with Aerith, just make sure to put a barrier on her for physical resistance but she’s usually my go-to outside of Cloud.

I played ffxi for like 10 years so i understand ff a little more than most. You can use aerith as white mage (healer) or a black mage (damage dealer) what i do with aerith is i give her 2 magic up materia, 2 mp up materia and i get her weapon up to 500 magic attack..With that her spells will do more damage than your summon..

When you stack damage so high, you really don't have to worry about healing because you can kill the enemy before they do damage to you.

I have the belt where you start every fight with full limit break and it recharges to full super fast..
