he's right. i'd been using fiverr for years to do album cover art.

a couple of freelancers were decent but for the most part communication was a pain in the ass (most of them were foreign) and i'd often have to break down and explain the simplest shyt multiple times. they're hella slow and would often fukk up on the smallest shyt and some revisions would take an eternity. not to mention, they're always trying to get a tip for that bullshyt service.

They called it the forth industrial revolution for a reason. It's meant to take your jobs and that's why they want to depopulate. They see extra people as a threat to their lifestyle.

A.I. and Quantum Computers will be used to speed the process up. The calculations for what it will take to re-industrialize will be handled by data centers. Making people and morality and thought irrelevant to them.

When reality hits on how evil the people making these decisions are, it's going to be such a shock to people it will be amazing to see what the reaction will be from the general population. Most will just give up and give into the demands of the Power Hungry people at the top.

For imminent danger though, these ceos ought to be the ones worried. Cause everything they do is precisely what the current AI technology can take over. Ceos, managers, project leaders. If your ass is used to barking orders and you ain’t never built sh1t , then yes, you are firmly fuccked.

Put the above threats out there. Make them nervous the way they been terrifying common folks.

recursive self improvement is the goal.

many CEOs wouldn't be nervous if they have majority ownership of their own company. I think they'd welcome it in order to take long vacations or sabbaticals .

Pretty clear to me that they dream of humans being little more than physical labor grunts for space mining, terraforming planets, etc. It'll be easier for robots to work on earth building wealth for a small handful of corporations, while low income humans are used off world until they can be replaced there too. That's the dream, I just don't believe it'll become reality. To me the real end game is humans doing physical labor on earth building the massive factories and machines. And it ties into why tech barrons are trying to buy a country (New Zealand) or steal one (Greenland.). They need a LOT of ground to get this done.

I used to think UBI would be their offering during the transition period. But the hyper right wing lurch these guys are making suggests they don't think they need to give humans shyt. It's gonna be a gleeful destruction of the labor force unless we get a president who halts it.

its hard to envision a future where space mining and transportation of that mined material is possible and robots being simultaneously unable to mine better than humans can.

i think space mining by robots will be possible before large scale human space colonization.
