I'm not completely sold on any of the FA moves that have been rumored. I love CP3 but will Harden learn to play off-ball? If he even adds some cutting and screening to his game I'd understand it. But as is it wouldn't be a huge improvement to our team other than the few minutes when Harden and CP3 are playing separately.

What we need more than anything is just a bucket getter. When Harden's shot isn't falling and the opponent has two 7 footers in the paint our offense is fukked. Harden isn't athletic enough to consistently finish with two 7 footers clogging the paint and disciplined defenders staying tight on our shooters, who by the way, aren't nearly as consistent as a CLE or a GSW.

So there's two ways we get better. Either Harden takes another leap again this season and adds a new scoring dimension to his game, or we get another top 10 scorer to help us when our pace and space offense is stumbling. I just don't see a scorer of that ability available. I wanted Jimmy but he was a pipe dream. And if it's going to cost Beverly who is literally the heart of the Rockets and our second best play most nights then whoever we chase HAS to deliver.

We need a top 10 bucket getter but we'd have to give up Beverly and Anderson to get that... which means we'll be even weaker in our perimeter defense and in our front line than we already were. Perimeter D would take a major hit and altho Anderson is trash and fools gold, he at least was a body that teams somewhat respected and gave us spacing.

I've seen the CP3 vs Lowry arguments, but regardless of who that bucket getter or PG is... would folks agree that someone like Milsap would be the suitable plug in PF as our secondary move? Or which other big man out there?

B for the last few offseason we always ending getting those star players or players we always been wanting since 2011-2015 and all of them end up being shyt for us Howard/Anderson/brewer... etc etc the only time shyt works out for us is when we did not want them Goran for Example

Beverley was named to the all-first nba team:mjcry:. There some consolation to this season.

We got all first nba and defensive player. Sixth man of the year, coach of the year, executive of the year and possible mvp. How did it all end so bad ?:mjcry:
Harden and his lack of defense and heart. Which is why we need a perimeter Defensive specialist that can hit the 3 and another scorer who can take over

:mjcry: i just want to go back to when we had Rick and two start type PG on the time... i always feel like i am the only Rockets fan that still miss Rick

You're not, especially during McHale's run where the system was "here Harden, take the ball and make something happen".

I'm all for most of these FA rumors other than Blake Griffin. The disaster it would be if we signed him to a big deal and he gets another terrible injury. Chris Paul and Lowry just get dealt a bad hand at the wrong time, but you 100% know something will happen to Blake. I'm all for anyone being able to take the load off Harden, whether it's CP3/Millsap, Lowry/Millsap, CP3/Hayward (which I don't think is realistic at all since there hasn't been anything connecting Houston and Hayward). What I don't want to happen is ending up with Darren Collison and Cole Aldrich or some band-aid ass shyt like that. A second star needs to be here regardless of fit, especially when GSW basically has 4, and the Spurs even with LMA still has two, in which even LMA is better than whoever people think our #2 guy is. The Rockets have done well at avoiding bad situations (outside of Ty Lawson). Could have crippled the cap retaining a Parsons that would eventually get multiple need surgeries, a Bosh that as of now won't ever play again, and a non-motivated downtrodden Melo, amongst other rumored moves where the players turned out to be bums.

Honestly if Parsons stays for all we know he could have stayed healthy.. and for a 2nd round pick he was great... he got to confident and now he just getting max after max and not playing basketball anymore :lolbron: only thing i can say that Mchale did good was draft Parsons

Do agree with that. I was a huge fan of Parsons and hated that he didn't stay, until he started breaking down almost immediately. He basically became a model that happens to wear an nba jersey :pachaha:

I thought the same, boy how things change :russ::dead:(:sadbron:). Dwight hitting a 3 and Casspi, Ronnie Brewer and the rest of the bench losing their shyt:mjlol:ahhhhh, the good ol days in David Lee, Richard Jefferson, and Jarrett Jack were logging a good amount of minutes for them :mjcry:
