This album is more monotone than the first one and I can see why it could turn some people off. I like the production on here better and I can easily listen from the beginning to the end w/o skipping any songs because I like more chill music in general.

As for Gibbs issues with Spitta, I feel that they just handle promotion differently and Gibbs felt so type of way that Curren$y was moving on to the next. That has always been his style and I can't fault him for doing what best for him. If Freddie wanted to make the album bigger than it was, then they should have made clear communication from the start and everyone should be on the same page. Translation got lose and feelings got hurt. It is what it is but hopefully they can end this beef over time. We all know that Freddie is emotional and erratic so his behavior is not surprising.
Cooking dinner to this tonight :ohlawd:

I don't think Freddie disses for buzz. He's just a messy individual.

Even when he's not dropping anything he's taking shots at people on Twitter. It's not like a Spitta and Benny diss are going to help him do numbers.

This right here.

He doesn't diss fools to get buzz or sell. He's talking about rappers who don’t even do numbers themselves. So going at them with little shots doesn't do anything for him, on his side.

Gibbs just writes whatever he feels in the moment and the sh*t he talks about is literally what's going on in his life. It's just authentic. People around him know this. If you're around him and you do some goofy sh*t, that sh*t might end up in a verse, lol. It's just how it goes with dude.

This shyt is fire but some of these tracks are too short. 3 minute song with outros and he don't even jump on the beat for a good 15-30s and he might be threading in an out of a hook in that time. shyts are deceptively short.

The upside is more beats but iunno. Could he not spit a lil longer on Lavish Habits? :mjcry:

Gold Feet sticks out like JID read the whole encyclopedia but its not even 4 minutes :dead:

I thought Gold Feet was dope off rip but it didn't hit me-hit me until I replayed the project some times over. Alchemist laced it :wow: I know the hook is interloped from GhettoMusick but the beat kinda sounds like the Patti LaBelle sample in the original song. JID floated but Gibbs set if off nice as well and their contrast is cool.

Booty spreading, questionable BMs, and getting beat up like a Family Guy character aside, Gibbs has a top tier catalog. The only project from him I’ve ever been “meh” about it is Shadow Of A Doubt, and I’d have to go back to listen to that cause I haven’t in ages.
