Cinematic games don’t have stuff like world maps because world maps and traversing them is not cinematic or realistic.

I didn’t say a game has to have a world map to NOT be a movie game.

You said cinematic games don't have stuff like world maps but then I said the newer God of War games have them. You then called GOW a game that's emulating a cinematic feel e.g. a movie game. What is it?

I never called Horison a move game.

GOW is mildly customizable. But nowhere near the customization of any other action/rpg game.
You or Mad Titan has tried to say Horizon's gameplay is shallow because of the reasons you two always blabber about.

Definitely nowhere near the depth in choice of claire obscure.

Imagine a DMC game shipping with 3 weapons :stopitslime:

GOWR has a few main weapons with lots of skills that unlock for each weapon on top of the customizable aspect making each player build vastly different from one another. A game like DMC is purely just hacking and slashing, there's no skill tree or armor/weapon customization.

Sifu is a very simple game. It’s challenging, but the combat is very simple.

Movie games are typically not very fun gameplay wise, or just very generic but flashy. Cinematic games tend to be built around certain aspects of how the game is going to play rather what story the game is try to sell you on.

Edit: TLOU 1 and part 2 are cinematic games. Infact TLOU 2 might be the best cinematic action game ever. Or that I've actually played, sadly it doesn't get it's props because of how badly the story and characters got butchered
