Peyton is teflon because the media built him to be that way. That's not to say he wasn't a bad mfer but, when the machine is constantly telling the casuals that he's in the GOAT conversation (and maybe he is) and propping him up with two of the most controversial MVP selections of all time (seriously he was maybe the 5th best QB in the league in 2008, we already know Brees or Favre obviously should've won in 2009), you end up with a bunch of parrots using media talking points to overlook his failures and the glaring problems on his resume.
