I know someone that competes in natural Physique bodybuilding and he don’t spend hours in the gym. If y’all not body builders then y’all wasting time lifting over an hour

Depending on your schedule and your level of experience training will take from 3 days a week to 6. Each workout session should be limited to no more than 60 minutes of intense weight training. More time in the gym and your testosterone levels will suffer.

The Truth
I just hit a light fullbody in the gym now… less than 45 minutes.

Stretches for about 5 minutes

close grip benches 4 sets of 8 at 185

Incline burnouts @135

4x8 pullups at 180 (burnout last set)

2x15 squats at 315

etc… probably could’ve did more if I wasn’t moving so fast.

I don’t prefer to lift like that though. Almost threw up at one point.

Bottom line is, some people prefer to take it easy especially if they moving heavy weight. I wanted to get in some boxing and cardio as well, but I’m going tomorrow when I have more time and going to take my time.

I HOOP FOR ABOUT A
HOUR & 15 MINUTES...

DO ABOUT 15-25 MINUTES OF PLYOS...

LOWER BODY LIFT
UPPER BODY LIFT
TAKES ABOUT 45-60 MINUTES.

THEN I HIT THE SHOWER
AND GET FRESH WHICH
CAN BE 20-40 MINUTES
DEPENDING ON HOW MUCH TIME
I GOT LEFT BEFORE MY 3HR
PARKING EXPIRES.

AND THATS HOW I SPEND
3 HRS IN THE GYM.

What the hell y’all be doing. It don’t take that long to workout. My routine is, I get in that bytch and hit them barbells for like 10 minutes. Then I fukk around on the leg machine and the other machines you gotta put the pin in the weights in for like 20 minutes.

Then I go hoop for for about 25 minutes. This is the core of my workout. fukk all that lifting weights shyt. Then I go to the pull up bar on my way out for like 5 minutes. Hit like 10-15 of them hoes.

Then I go home and roll me a blunt. Then someone hit me up and ask me what I’m doing, I tell them I just got back from getting swole on these nikkas. shyt do not take hours and hours at do a proper workout at the gym smh.
If you're not focusing on cardio, a good workout should take around 45 minutes. But you sound like you're not really following a plan so :yeshrug:

Well that’s the problem you have no programming no work rest cycles and possibly horrible form and don’t do any type of active recovery/warmup/cool down.

I do a full body routine with 8 exercises but the first 2-3 require a lot of time (compound lifts). Squats, deadlifts, overhead presses, bench press etc.

but like you said fukk all that lifting weight shyt you clearly have different goals.
