No one playing dumb.

I asked legit questions.

And if Diddy is so terrible, y would any of his former artists want his help?

They can't have it both ways.

Thats what I dont get

If all these guys are the walking devil

Why would you want help

Why would you go on those bad boy reunion tours

It makes no sense

Rob was on bad boy for damn near a decade before he dropped anything. And he was taken care of.

The expectations people have for celebs are stupid. You get money you have more people than you could imagine coming at you for help. At some point you have to make a stand and stick to it. Business is not personal.

There's a video of Diddy and Rob in the studio where Diddy is trying to get rob to work and Rob just wanna hang out and drink while Diddy is working. That should show you the dynamic of why people get where they are. Even the lox who had a beef with Puff have always said he out worked then and everyone else around him. Now years later everyone want to keep tapping his pockets. NOPE

You got that vid breh?

Genuine question, cuz Twitter been lighting his ass up ever since he wrote that open letter to corporations and Black Robb posting from the hispital.

Is Diddy responsible for his current artists situations?

Should Diddy be buying houses and paying off medical debt for certain people?

Did Diddy fuk over his artists when it comes to money? If so was it intentional or the industry standard?

What y'all think.

Great thread

What was Diddy supposed to do? I’m sure Black Rob made a lot of money, relative to where he was before receiving a deal, during his short stint at Bad Boy.

how? health insurance is thousands of dollars.. you pay a small percentage of that. Styles P and others said artists need to be unionized. Agreed.

An employer is not at all obligated to pay any part of their employees insurance monthly premium.

It depends on what's best for their bottom line and what they want to spend per employee.

Most large employers also have "dead peasant" insurance on their individual employees...

However, the costs get shipped right back onto them and their families sure as hail ain't paid out to the fullest when they die..

My point is, Badboy had no obligation to pay for a former 1099 employee.

Yeah, Diddy could if he wanted to, but he is not obligated to.

Not to mention, Rob was on a different label following Badboy.

And the cost depends okn the plan and the number of employees.

I worked for a small biz that covered the entire premium for individuals. There was 8 of us. It out about 4500 a month full coverage. We had to pay out of our pocket if we needed a spouse or child covered.

Diddy don’t owe black Rob shyt

diddy didn’t tell homie to knock up 4 different women

diddy didn’t tell him to do crimes or get into drinking and drugs

diddy did give him a shytty contract, but nikkas should have read it, because nikkas think that diddy, Suge and the other executives are black they have your back and they don’t .. them nikkas are almost bigger snakes than white label executives
Technically you’re right, but as far as the bolded, this is how so many artists get taken advantage of. Easy to say read the contract, but when you literally came from nothing, and you have all this money promised up front that will change your life, you’re not thinking how it will affect you long term. Even when 2pac signed to Death Row, that was almost a desperation move because although we found out he signed a fukked up contract too, the alternative was staying locked up, and who wants to stay in prison?

you're splitting hairs.. you would still be paying a far reduced cost. Some employers do offer counseling and surgical costs etc. even after the employee has left. Even in the sports and entertainment industry.

Diddy could have offered more benefits.. he simply didn't want to.

How many folks who grew up around peoole who are doing bad (usually of their own fault) reach out to give them something to help out? Diddy probably last dealt with Rob 20 years ago if he's a hypocrite then most of us are

How do you determine who is at fault for another person’s situation?
