this is interesting. never really thought about it. i don't ever really approach men or try to lock down relationships so maybe that's the difference in my response. I need to be friends with a guy to be with them. so for me it's just about getting to know somebody as a person with no timelines or pressures just like i would do a friend.... we don't have to talk everyday, you don't have to answer my text right away.... of course, if you do these things i would take it as a sign of special interest. but if they don't do these things or if they have a bad moment, i'm not gonna throw a fit and cut them off we'll just see where it goes

Typical blame shifting. Nobody is talking about throwing a fit. But with years comes experience, and experience tells you that if a woman does certain things, it's going to get nowhere, so you might aswell cut her off.
