Exactly what I'm talking about.
how high can you possibly rate a guy whose best album is barely 4 mics at best? and he doesn't have a lot of urban hits to make up for it.
the only reason I even rank him that high is because of his sales & impact. basically I rank him that high because hes white......which proves my point that black people don't underrate him.
Depends what generation you ask. To 90s kids Em is more impactful.
'90s kids are too old to not know better.
MAYBE you can say that about 2000s kids. but not 90s kids. no way.
If Eminem dies, it will be one of the biggest news stories for days on end. The hip hop community is going to stop for him because of his status and he is going to be given a lot of respect from people all over the world. Contrary to what 95% of this site thinks, Eminem has become a household name in hip hop. When you think of the genre, you think of him alongside Nas, Jay, Pac, and whatnot. Consider the fact that he has crossover appeal and is looked at as an icon by many. I don't get why anyone here is saying that his death will be one of those "here today, gone tomorrow" deals.
the bolded is crazy talk.
in hip-hop, Eminem is gonna go down in the same boat as people like drake & Kanye. crossover superstars that are just relevant enough with the core audience.
