I mean on a deep level he isn’t exactly wrong, but the truth of the matter is you still need a place to sleep, food to eat, clothes to wear, safety, and you want the same for those you love.

Only thing about beatmakers is once the sound changes a lot of them cats get thrown into the bushes for whatever the next wave is exactly. Or you got cats that will copy your sound to the best of their ability and charge lower prices to artists. With music after you learn the essentials imo you have to learn to be creative.
