What is cutting the weight lifting supposed to do? If you're not losing, either you're not working out as intensely as you should, or you're eating too much.
It was water weight that kept me at 215
Just checked the scale I'm at 210 now
I officially lost 30 pounds :blessed:

I'm thinking about doing this. I've been bloated a little bit lately. Coming in around 210-215 while being 6'4". Doesn't sound bad but too much of that is sitting in my belly and face.

My concern is doing it and getting too skinny to where my head looks big on a thin body. :sadcam: I can put on muscle easily but I can also shed weight easily if I'm not careful. But I haven't been dieting AT ALL in the past two months so maybe I should get on this in conjunction with getting back in the gym. All I've been doing is the 100 pushup challenge and playing basketball

Fantasy.
I've been intermittent fasting on and off for a while but the last couple of weeks have been doing it everyday. I also have been doing low carb and today I noticed how much energy and clarity I have. I'm able to wake up early without feeling groggy and actually have energy. Not to mention that I don't feel like leaving work as soon as I get there and am able to work better, faster and am less distracted. I actually feel motivated to workout and because I feel so much better it also motivates me to continue eating healthy. I had a couple of days where it was touch and go cause I guess I caught the carb flu and didn't think I would maintain but it's passed now and like I said have noticed how much better I feel.

I started IF yesterday for the first time. 10-6pm window. Ate a big breakfast, didn't have an appetite for lunch, and had to stuff myself at 5:45 for dinner.

It was interesting. Looking forward to today
Can you try a 12pm to 8pm window?
It should help seeing as 8pm is closer to bedtime than 6pm

I been on THIS(IF) now for about 5 weeks, its kinda crazy getting so many compliments from family and co workers about my weight loss, since I started doing this specifically I lost almost 30 lbs(was around 265) all together since May.

I'm 5'8/5'9 ish and at one point I was 288lbs about two yrs ago, I would go through spells where I would wake up choking in my sleep from sleep apnea, couldn't walk more than 20 steps without sweating and out of breath. Also my stomach was fukkin huge and I was put on a BP med.

I just started to take my weight loss serious back in may and im currently about 235(stocky), been doing IF mixed with HIIT(but not daily like I use to before I discovered IF). I can definitely see the difference in my face and my stomach has shrunk. I want to get down to about 215-220 and continue to weight lift and get cut.

When I first started running on treadmill the highest I could go was about 4mph and I was out of breath from that. I can easily sprint at 11-13mph now without getting tired, HIIT has helped me in that area. From my cardio, stamina, erections, no more high BP or meds, no more sleep apnea. etc.. Loosing weight is changing my life but I still have more I want to lose but I'm very happy so far.

I eat differently, I made lifestyle changes that I can sustain even after I get to my ideal goal.

The only downside is I had to buy all new scrubs because my old ones are way too big and I basically am having to buy a brand new wardrobe because ALL of my clothes are too big, but its a good problem to have.

Well done brother,

Another thing with sleep apnea. It used to PLAGUE me even as a relatively lean guy. Cured it with a simple easy step, don’t eat anything especially carbs after sunset. Once the sunsets, the body enters rest and repair mode and digestive tract slows down. Refined Carbs completely messes up stomach acid levels by lowering it, thus creating environment for maldigested carbs and improper digestion of proteins creating flatulence and reflux which result in sleep apena. You want to eat your last meal 2-3 hours before sunet, by the time the sun sets, everything is outside you the stomach and already digested. Just my 2 cents dealing with this for years

That makes a lot of sense because I would eat my meals late. Working overnight I use to always eat late, snack on whatever I wanted. Now I usually only eat once every 24hrs. Sometimes two depending on if I'm going out socially. But normally my meal is around 11-4pm.

Water helps curve the food, I don't really have cravings that much, sometimes for some sweets but I slowed down on that a lot as well, I don't drink beer which I use to a lot and I haven't had a soda in almost a year. I'm realizing just cutting out the beer, soda, greasy foods does wonders for your body when you're trying to get healthy and lose weight.

Yo keep up the good work man! I also had to buy a bunch of new clothes since my old stuff was too big. It was a dope feeling buying a whole new summer wardrobe. I still need new denim but that'll come at some point.

Cutting out the beer and soda is one of the best things you can do for yourself. I went out with the homies last weekend for the Mayweather fight and these dudes were just drowning in pitchers of beer. They kept asking me if I wanted some and I was like nah I'm good. I just had a few vodka oranges and I was straight.
