Right. Do both.
Just to add context: there's nothing stopping you from being an entrepreneur with a college degree, it's a plus.
The discipline that it takes to finish college is always going to be impressive for potential employers. All stats point to having degrees improving your earning potential, even for those with the âwastedâ degrees, when compared to those without degrees at all.It is better to support your children. You groom your child into doing what you think is best, you run the risk of pushing them down a path where they cannot realise their full potential.
Also, college isn't a waste of time. Major aside, there is a level of research, analysis, evaluation and discipline required to succeed.
They should know how the economy works before theyâre in high school.
You gonna teach economics to some 6th graders?
This argument has been made millions of times.
"We should be teaching kids about finances and the economy etc.."
Why do we automatically assume kids give a fukk about learning that? Most kids would just blow those off like they do math, science, and literally everything else.
Stop trying to groom your kids and just teach them how to be a decent person. How you gonna groom an entrepreneur when you probably have a job you've been working for 30 years anyway?
