See how it goes once she gets a new job.

If it's the same shyt..........:pachaha:

No kids. No house. Postnup.

Clean exit :ahh:

Damn, breh.

I've been on SOHH / The Coli long enough to have witnessed this journey.

I was there for the PAWG heartbreak of 2011.

I was there when this brehette helped you pull out of that shyt and helped you get your shyt together.

And now here you are, cashed up, glow'd up... and ready to make the leap (like we lambast women for doing).

I'd only ask that you consider your decision wisely, breh.

Keep in mind, all women are annoying, but not all women are good.

I don't pretend to know you, but I know you wouldn't have married her if she weren't a good woman.

You married this woman for a reason.

Consider why you married her in the first place, and why you want to not be married any longer.

Long term vs. short term.

Just something to think about.

Good luck. :tu:

Thanks breh.

I'm joking though.

I'd get marriage counseling and read books and make her quit before I left her :ehh:

I always tell her "get rid of your debt and go back to school or be a stay at home mom"

We killing it financially right now and we are just too in love. We travel and have fun together.

Montreal in 2 days :lawd:

But I did really advance my finances career and all that within a fukking 3 year span .... if I was single right now it'd be too easy :damn:

I don't believe in divorce unless she fukks another nikka :hubie:

Yup.

But the reality is... successful brehs don't stay single. If it weren't her, it'd be another woman on your nerves.

That's just how it goes :manny:.

So embrace it. Build for her, protect her, provide for her... and help her be the best mf'er she can be for you too.

...or should you just call it a life and be single for the duration of your life? I'm 2 months away from the big Four-Oh :flabbynsick::to:

And all 40 year old women, or women 35 and up to be general, just seem to have mad kids, mad attitude, and mad baggage. When I start talking to them and start dealing with their BS, I immediately long for, and go back to, the peace and simplicity of my solitude and bachelor's life:obama:

Fellow old heads :flabbynsick: speak on it. Have you found success in the dating game as you enter middle age, or have you reveled in your singlehood and found other things besides women to occupy your time? Youngstas chime in. Is there a certain cutoff point for you to stop pursuing love, or will you search until the end of your days?:ohhh:
Good luck.

I won’t sit up here and say I don’t value companionship, because I always have. However my definition of companionship has changed over time. I’m also confident most mens definition of love changes as well. Everybody’s different tho

What do you value?

How do you define love?

I feel like if you genuinely feel a chick , you’re going to look pass her life, I’m not saying date former strippers, but people carry baggage.... we all do. If you’re 40 then you realize how important time is. If you want a family, you think about “time” a lot, and much you may or may not have. Sure you can make kids well into your 60s, but by now you should realize that it’s more gratifying to see your children grow to be successful adults. That’s what I mean when I say thinking about “ time”

I’m 42 married with 4 kids

The Other A
I'm 40.

Still getting better.

Odds of me finding an equal are slim.

But that's ok because being alone isn't a problem when your happiness comes from within.

Your path may be different.

But I'm either gonna find a perfect woman, or ride this wave of peace, quiet, good food, and random p*ssy forever.
