It seems like since that mega trade the Dodgers haven't won a game, every time I put on MLB Network it seems like they're losing. Whats their record since the trade ?

Phillies chances of making the playoffs range anywhere from 1-3% which isn't good but certainly an improvement over where they were a few weeks ago (just over 0%).

Some posters have been calling the Phillies bullpen trash and while they were trash for the first 3/4 of a season they have been doing very good over the last month. Due mainly to b*stardo becoming unhittable again like he was for the majority of last season (His K/9 since the beginning of August is around 18). Also the young arms they have brought up have been doing great especially Aumont who has been filthy. He is going to have control issues sooner or later but so far they haven't come up.

You're right; no team that's won a World Series before should ever lose a playoff series again. It's pathetic.

Edit: Beyond that, the last three times they lost in the postseason was: in the World Series to the Yanks, then to the eventual champs in the Giants and Cardinals (who went on an all-time tear and beat them 1-0 in Game 5 because of a classic performance from Carpenter). That's really something to hang your head about.

Exactly the baseball playoffs are a total crapshoot where the hottest team at the time wins..It's not the predictable ass NBA where the favorite wins 99% of the time
