Paps has had a good season though, the whole team is responsible for being in the position they are in right now, especially the middle relievers.

That being said the meltdown to the Braves ending with Chipper's 3 run shot still hurts.

Because some dudes fixate on that kinda stuff and dismiss teams because of certain numbers. I'm sure STL and TB had probabilities of near 0% before they made their runs last year.

We've seen quite a few teams make miraculous runs in the past 5-6 seasons, so it's just idiotic to say a team is out of it because they're trailing by 9 games at the All-Star break or 5 games with three weeks to go.

lol @ math being idiotic. a probability is a probability. do they teach statistics in philly schools? ill give you even money they dont make the playoffs, for literally how ever much you want to bet. you know why you wont take that bet? because the probability of them even making the playoffs is still EXTREMELY low, and its much lower than the 50% chance that an even money bet suggests.

You're still missing the point. You dismissed even the possibility of them making the playoffs a couple months ago and still are, even though we have plenty of recent history to suggest that's a foolish way of thinking.

I know but L's like that are more memorable esp since I turned the game off to goto gym on some its over steez lol. We definitely wasn't scoring earlier in the season but we haven't been that type of offense honestly since 09 imo.
