I've said it before and I'll say it again...VOIP is a pain, and in particular I hate trying to get fax machines to work consistently over VOIP. How did I even get put in charge of this?

Really wish my users would join the 21st century and send emails like normal people living in 2017.

I'm glad that I don't have to deal with those bullshyt VOIP problems and configuring/troubleshooting phones

Even dealing with printers is a pain looking back.

Another person left the company. This time it's a tech lead who had started the week after Thanksgiving. He was making $130K. I wish I knew why he left. He was there one day and then he was gone for a couple. And then I'm told that he's gone and to close down his accounts.

Meanwhile, I've been studying more and more while on the clock. My manager said I could do an hour a day, but I'm watching videos whenever possible.

I use JIRA now. Pretty flexible tool that can be used for AGILE type projects or bug tracking among other things
